RE: Memorial 96265786 - Hannah C. Thornton
I am still a little confused about this memorial and your link to her "husband". I believe Hannah was actually married to a Daniel Thornton (not Michael Francis Thornton as linked on the site). According to the 1900 U.S. Census, Hannah and Dan Thornton were living together in Lexington with several other family members (including their son, Joseph Daniel Thornton who was born in 1899 and my recently married great grandparents - Tom and Minnie Gentry). Joseph D. Thornton is buried beside his mother in Calvary Cemetery (as shown on the photo of the grave marker you included in this memorial). I believe someone could have possibly gotten Hannah mixed up with another person if they provided the information to you that she was married to Michael Francis Thornton - rather than Dan (unless, of course, she was married to both of them, something I haven't been able to confirm). I will stay in touch as I proceed further with my research. Thanks for all you do.

Thanks for your reply. I will continue working to confirm (or disprove) my suspicion as well. Thanks again for all you do.

Memorial 96265786 - Hannah C. Thornton
Hello - In this memorial you created, you indicate that Hannah's maiden name is Rhorer. Can you confirm that? I believe this individual is possibly Hannah (Patra) C. Gentry who married Daniel Thornton. There could be some confusion because the person I believe to be her brother, Thomas Gentry (my paternal Great Grandfather), married Minnie Lee Rhorer and Hannah has been found in a few records living with the Thomas and Minnie Gentry family.
I would love to know if my records are correct or whether this individual was actually Hannah C. Rhorer (rather than Gentry) before her marriage.
Thank you.

Adams family - Lexington Cemetery
Once again thank you for bearing with me as I sort out (VERY CAREFULLY) the various ADAMS folks buried in Lexington Cemetery. Somewhere I hope to find my ancestor!! You have done a great service posting headstone photos as they tell so much more than what a plot search does!! Good work!

I am so sorry that I could not get pictures on the inside of the Mausoleum. The door was locked and had very x-small windows just big enough and just enough light to identify but not to take the pictures inside. Patty
