We live in Central NH. Our family (and friends) graves are located primarily all over New England and we're trying to locate as many as we can in an effort to complete family history and to honor their respective memories.|
We are especially interested in the families whose ancestors were citizens of Durham, Maine. Many thanks to all the contributors who have helped us locate photos and link family members inside the memorials.
That search fostered another into the Kenneson branch of the family, with roots in Aroostook County, Maine. Happily, FAG was the vehicle for meeting a family cousin and fellow contributor, Geno42, who has very generously shared volumes of family history and some delightful photos.
Along the way, whenever we visit a cemetery for any reason, we try to take pictures and add to the memorials in the collective data base.

Further information: Spurr's Vital Statistics for Otisfield, page 338 shows both the 1871 date of death (as on the gravestone) and the 1872 one. He had two wives, both named Lydia. I have submitted edits to link them to him. Their gravestone dates are the same as in Spurr. To us, Daniel is great grand uncle.

|Mike Serpa||Thomas Joseph Conlon|
Do you think this photo is the same Thomas Conlon in the memorial?
Your Posting of Wilbert Walton is a duplicate of one that was posted in 2011. DJ
I have submitted an edit to add his date of birth. The record supporting him to be the correct Daniel is to be found in Maine, Vital Records, 1670-1907 accessed via Family Search. It is a "delayed return" for vital records. The year does not match, but the day and month do match and he is located in the correct place, namely Otisfield. To us he is great grand uncle. His wife was Lydia but I do not have authentic facts of her birth/death. She would be buried in the same cemetery as are others of this family and likely is one of the Lydias you've created memorials for. We are aware of who Daniel's father was and where he is buried. These folks are generally linked in family genealogies, but finding the authentication is another matter.

I will be sending you a lot of edits on Mary Ellen. I just realized that she is a relative. My question is how did you get her info. She was part of a large family who lived in Rumford and I am looking for 2 brothers and a sister.
