RE: spouse info
Hello Again,

I went through my papers. Pierre/Peter lived at 168 Britton Street from early 1900 till the 1930 census. His son Louis at 281 Britton. I believe the Weck family from the censor must have bought the house and listed him as the lodger. As I said the Weck wife and sister Clara Lechensring were cousins to Louis wife Ella. That's all confirmed through my research.

Louis , Ella, Carlton and daughter Madeline are all buried at Village Cemetary in South Hadley. My Grandpa Pierre is not listed. Notre Dame got back to me and he is not at Notre Dame or Precious Blood. So I think I need info from death cert. I cannot find it online anywhere. ....

So I need to find place to get it. Where do I write or call ? Or do you have access to 1935 death certs. Death was either 10/ 18 or 11/18 1935. The November date may be when recorded. I got date from SS. So thats what iversion got, my mom is very sick andim tring to findicate hI'm so we know where everyone is.

I very much appriciation your help.

RE: spouse info
Hello,

Thanks for the reply. It is so odd. In the early 1900's he went by Pierre. Later census was Peter. On his and Vergennes marriage license he is Fardina. His father is Fortuna and mother is Philomene Fortin. I have him born in Vermont. His father died very young, Pierre was a baby. Philomene moves to Chicopee, she ends up with an Albert Houle. I don't believe they married. There was a brother William. Then very much later there are two more children born to Philomene, both are listed as Fortunat children which cannot be. He had been dead for years.

On Pierre and Virgenie marriage cert. Virgenie father is listed as Joseph mother Marie Guertin. Both mothers are correct through all the records.

Where could I write to to get a copy of my Grandpa Pierre's death cert. ? Any idea what they cost now ? He is the only one I cannot find. The son William and Mille both who died very young I have records for. It's just Pierre after that 1930 census on Britton Street. He is listed as a lodger, his daughter in law Ella Schmitter Pariseau is related to the Weck wife. So he is living with family at the time. I would say the informant had to be the oldest son my Great Grandpa Lous David married to Ella.

I have everyone but Pierre. He has to be buried somewhere. I would think. That's why I think a death cert. would list cemetary. I did email Notre Dame. If they do not reply I will mail a letter. That phone number is always busy. I really appreciate your help. Im in San Diego so going there isn't feesable. Thanks again any help is really greatly appreciated.

John J. Rec
Rec
Hi,
Not sure if you can help me, but was wondering what you know about this John J Rec. I'm trying to see how we are related if at all and if there's any information on Rec's in Poland.

My great grandfather was born in Poland in 1886, John S Rec and was married to Sofia, who had John J Rec (my grandfather) in NJ.

Any help or guidance you could provide would be very helpful and appreciated. Thanks!

There are ten members of the Childerhouse family buried in this cemetery. All have the surname Childerhouse with the exception of Audrey "Childerhouse" Beattie. These ten individuals are all descendants of my maternal great-grandparents, Stephen & Augusta Childerhouse.

I have a number of additions that I would like to make to these memorials and I wonder if you could assist me in this matter.

With gratitude for your many contributions to family histories,
Mike Campbell

RE: John Marden.
OK, that's fine.
I'd assumed you knew something about him because of the parents' names given in the bio section - do you know who suggested that info?
Thanks.
