Bio Photo *** Apologies if I'm not responsive in a timely manner, trying to maintain focus on the job at hand and (300+) emails are collecting that I have flagged to deal with ***

Junior genealogist - with an email address, a car and a digital camera.

Photos I take belong to the people who ask for them. You are free to do whatever you wish to with them. I ask that they not be published on pay-to-view sites.

I pay a lot of attention to the sun and try to avoid reflecting myself in any photo. That means that at times I take photos at odd angles. I will visit any given headstone a number of times trying to get the right light on it. Sometimes that doesn't work out and I file a crappy photo - when you see such a photo, please tell me to go take a better one.

I want to thank everyone who has stepped up and offered corrections or taken transfers for the cemeteries I've been working, it's been a rewarding experience.

I am in the process of visiting all of Danvers cemeteries and ensuring they are fully catalogued. I am only posting fresh photos when I think mine are better or show something different. If you object, drop me a line and we can chat.

I do take breaks and handle occasional photo requests - if you have a location, that makes it a lot more tempting. It's a challenge to walk a large cemetery looking for two headstones and then have 4 more requests for the same cemetery a week later.

I trim my messages and only leave those that I need to do something about - I'm not hating you, just trying to use the messages to advantage. (Although I think I will keep the message from Billie forever - such an inspiration)

Thanks for the heads up with the dupe. I don't have as many problems with the Flash, it got really bad at one point. But with the web hosts going after Adobe, I was getting 7, 8, 9 dupes at a time. I was wondering how other people that use their phones and tablets were dealing with it. Awful.

RE: Angelo Colucci
Angelo is a relative in the family tree in which research has turned up some interesting questions. I don't know of any connection between him and the Shirlee you mentioned in your email. Mary A. (Colucci) Cortese was his adopted daughter. Would appreciate any help you put forth in locating his grave/marker. Thanks!

Hastings in Haverhill
Thank you for your message regarding Edna, John, and Robert Hastings not being buried at Riverview Cemetery, Groveland, Essex County, MA.

I checked Pentucket and there are no Hastings there.

All the best, Linda

Mrs. Anna Mason
Hi Jack,
Thanks for the great information on Anna Mason and her family. I added it to her biography. I tried to find her husband John but no luck yet. If you run across more info, let me know. Thanks again.

Donald Soper

Thank you for attempting to locate Donald Soper at Walnut Grove cemetery.

Find A Grave has a listing of Veterans at Walnut Grove and Donald Soper is listed among them.
From their page:

Walnut Grove Cemetery
30 Sylvan St
Danvers, MA 01923

Birth: Oct 30 1943
Death: Nov 22 1998
Age: 55
Branch: US ARMY
Rank: PVT

Donald Soper PVT, Danvers, MA

Is there a separate section of the cemetery for Veterans? I will try to add this info to the photo request and keep it active as I believe Find A Grave to be accurate.

Thanks again,
