RE: Edits for FindAGrave

"Edits for FindAGrave
Do you approve?"

The first Link does not work. The second takes me to Fanny's Memorial...... Kathryn is NOT her Nickname, Kathryn is her Middle Name.

On your Main Page at the top Tabs, click on 'Edits'... You will see that others including me, have submitted corrections, then Click to either accept them or deny them.

Good Luck ! :)

RE: Kathryn Kemper Maney

"Where are the Kemkers buried? Do you know and what to put up a memorial for them?"

I have NOT found a burial for Thomas & Julia KEMKER. Thomas disappeared from any records about 1918, Memphis, Tennesee. age about 42. Julia (Widow of Thomas) died 1963, per other Trees, in Niagara Falls, New York. I'm still looking but really don't have any hope of finding a burial for them. Some things we may never find out for sure.... Such is Genealogy !

Kathryn Kemper Maney
Hi Eva !

"Do you know Kathryn and Faye's parents were? What was Kathryn's husband's name?"

Anna & Fannie Kathryn KEMKER are sisters, parents were Thomas Anthony KEMKER, Born Arkansas, and his wife Julia Moore EMERSON, born Tennesee

Kathryn is Fannie Kathryn KEMKER, .. Kathryn is NOT her nickname, born Memphis, Shelbly, Tennesee .... who married Harry MANEY, born 1898 Chicago, a younger brother of Thomas MANEY (Born 1890, Chicago). Thomas and Harry were children of Thomas MANEY, 1858, and Margaret Hunter Maney, born 1861. Both parents born in Scotland.

And Anna's KEMKER middle name is Faye..... Faye is not her nickname

Harry MANEY; born 21 Apr 1898 Chicago. Died 26 Oct 1972, his Memorial at Find A Grave: ( I'll SAC the creater, Heather, and have him linked to Thomas and Margaret MANEY).

Harry died 26 Oct 1972, his wife Fannie Kathryn died 1998. No idea why they are not in the same cemetery ?

More ? Just ask.... :)... Have a great day !

Evergreen Hill Memory Gardens Cemetary, Steger, IL
Hi Eva,

Would you happen to know if the list of Internments for Evergreen Hill Memory Gardens is a complete listing of all the graves in the cemetery? I ask because I remember my Great Grandfather Bernhardt Krause #138448211 taking me through there as a teenager and showing me several family graves long before most of the graves I am aware of on the site were placed there. This would have been several years prior to his death in 1994.

I have located at Evergreen:
Bernhardt Krause #138448211
Mathilda Hering Krause #138448333 (Berhnardt's Wife)
John Frederich (Fred) Hering #70698652 (Mathilda's Father)
Donald K Krause Sr #98433170 (Bernhardt and Mathilda's son)
Josephine LaCorte Krause #138443181 (Donald Sr's Wife)
Donald K Krause Jr #13844393 (13844393 (Donald Sr's & Josephine's Son)
Michale T Krause #98433123 (Donald Sr's and Josephine's Son)

By this list, the only deceased at the time my Great Grandfather took me to the cemetery would have been Mathilda and her father John Frederich. I believe there would have been others with he surnames Krause (like Bernhardt's parents August and Minnie) and Hering (John Frederich's wife Sophie). I did go through every name listed under internment and didn't recognize any other family names, so am wondering if that list is even complete yet. Thank you for any information you can provide!

Please change the order of pictures I don't want the article to come up first when I share his memorial.

RE: John (Jonas) & Anna (Malmberg) Hylander
My husband is Lance Edward Hylander; his father is Leonard Robert Hylander; grandfather is Edward Louis Hylander; great grandfather is Johan (John) Ferdinand Hylander; great great grandfather is Jonas Magnus Olofsson Hylander... and continuing further... 3X great grandfather is Olof Svensson... the only photos I have are of his father and grandfather, and not very many of them. Leonard died before my husband and I met. Are you related to the Hylander line?
