I have been interested in family history since 1978 and have enjoyed doing family research since that time. I love this website and have been adding memorials for our family. I hope, if you view any of my memorials you will contact me so I can share what ever information I might have. Some of my family memorials I have listed, not knowing the cemetery, in hopes someone who sees them may be able to tell me. I also have been adding memeorials for my daughter's in-laws family and some from the local cemeteries. So either way, I can possibly tell you something about a number of my memorials. I welcome your questions, comments, corrections etc. I have met some really nice and helpfull people through Find A Grave. It is my most sincere desire to help someone add new data to their research so plese feel free to contact me.|

Sorry about the duplicate I created for Lancey Stratford Jr. I went ahead and removed this and posted the photos to your original memorial.

You are very welcome. Thanks for the compliment earlier. Should there be anything else I can ever do when in that area just lemme know.
|Margaret Ordoubadian||Kesire Dalton|
Even though the spelling is different, I believe this is a record of a marriage and, thus, consort is incorrect.
Their children are Joseph (1879- ) and John (1882- ) found in the 1900 census living with their father. They are all mentioned in the probate document for Martin Dalton's will as heirs of John Dalton who was killed in the Civil War.
Birth Date: 1860
Birth Place: Carroll Co., VA.
Marriage Date: 29 Jan 1878
Marriage Place: Carroll, Virginia
Father: John Dalton
Spouse: David P. Dalton
FHL Film Number: 31087
Reference ID: p 44
|Margaret Ordoubadian||James isaac Martin Dalton|
James Isaac Martin Dalton, the son of Nancy Jennings Dalton (1843-1886) and Isaac Dalton (1839-1916), was the twin brother of Nancy Jane Eveline Dalton (1876-1886). Mother and two children died within two weeks time of influenza. The son's birthdate is wrong. It is 1876, not 1846. Perhaps it is wrong on the tombstone.
Thanks, Margaret Ordoubadian

It would be nice to add her parents to the entry: Martin Luther Dalton and Keziah Jane Hill Dalton.
|Michael Nestor||Rufus Puckett and Laura Jane Nester|
Thanks for all the hard work you have done on Carroll County, Va research and www.findagrave.
I noticed that you have the wrong Nester wife for Rufus Puckett. He married 22 Dec 1879 Carroll Co to Laura Jane Nester, b 18 Aug 1865, d 22 Jul 1926, dau of Jackson Nester and Mary Ann Largen.
This couple was living together in the 1880, 1900, 1910, and 1920 Carroll Co census.
You had that Rufus married Laura J. Puckett and secondly to Sarah Nester Combs. Sarah was the dau of Rebecca A. Nester and married Victor H. Combs, as you correctly have, and this family had moved to Bland County, Va by 1900, where Sarah died in 1919.
|Sue Hale Sheppard||Infant Hales|
Thank you for linking the Infant Hales to their parents, Norman and Anna Hale.
I would be pleased if you would read my Bio and visit my parents' memorials by clicking on their links.
This gravesite is vacant, fyi
