Bio Photo Born in Pampa, TX. Raised in Midland, TX. Graduated Midland High, then left for college and points beyond. Now retired and enjoy fulfilling F.A.G. photo requests. My F.A.G. work is done primarily in the North Texas area. Of course, when we travel, I can't resist going to other cemeteries!

PLEASE use the surname the person died with, regardless of multiple marriages. When you include multiple last names in the last name field, it makes a search for pre-existng memorials almost impossible!!

If I have added photos to your memorials that you would like removed, please let me know and I will remove them as soon as I read your request.

A sincere THANK YOU to all who take
the time to leave a note on my only
child's memorial. ---> (Robert Kelly Wynn)

RE: Marguerite Gregory memorial request
I'm not sure I understand your statements. Maybe I confused things when I said "my Sarah Tull". I definitely did not mean she was my adopted daughter.

Marguerite Gregory is not a blood ancestor of mine. She actually was born in Illinois (most of my ancestors landed in Van Zandt County in the early 1800's and pretty much stayed there until the my dad's generation). The family lore is that Marguerite arrived on one of the "orphan trains" that came through our county. She was adopted by Sarah and her husband. Tull was Sarah's maiden name.

I apologize, I assumed (erroneously), since there was no information really on Marguerite Gregory's memorial page that the person maintaining it was not related and thought I would offer.

Thank you for your work on Find A Grave. It's a really great community, with some really great volunteers.

So sorry - apparently I misspelled the song by Free. Should
be "All Right Now". Oops, big mistake! I read this song was
played at Robin's funeral per his request, so I wanted to get
the spelling correct.

You are very welcome! It is an honor to sponsor Robin's
memorial. I saw him perform many times in Doyle's band
and was so saddened to learn of his passing. Shocked,
really. He was such a nice and kind man and a terrific
guitarist. Just a few days ago, I found where he was buried
and visited him. Today I left a token of remembrance and
wanted to sponsor him. I feel so blessed that I could do
that for him. Such a wonderful man! I'm glad you added so
much more about him so people will know him better. He is
so deserving of recognition. FYI - one of my favorite songs
is "It's Alright Now" by Free. Now, when I listen to that song,
I want to cry!

Have a blessed night! ~ Jean Ann

(I have also sponsored Doyle and Stevie's mother, so feel
free to visit them anytime.)

Bill E. Wright Mother Correction
The information you were provided that Lena Ellis was the mother of Bill "Eugene" Wright is incorrect.

Lena Ellis Wright-Andrews is the first wife of Edward Wright, and the mother of William "Billie Ellis" Wright, who was born in Olney, TX and buried in Odessa in 2006.

Because of their similar age and initials this is an understandable error but I am personally familiar with that branch of the Wright family and will be editing your memorial to remove Lena as William Eugene Wright's mother.

I am researching the correct parents for Bill Eugene Wright, however this may prove difficult because his parents appear to be transients in mining and petro-chemical services. I suspect that he was out west (NM, AZ, CA), moved to Lamar County in the 1950's, where he married Zella Middleton, and divorced her afterward. Public records (post divorce) show he lived in the unincorporated community of Telephone, in Fannin County before his death. Bill Eugene is of WWI military age so I hope to find his registration documents to confirm the name of his parents, who may have died when he was very young.
