I am sad to report that my husband Keith passed away January 2. We will have a memorial for him in May and lay his ashes to rest near our special granddaughter in Eufaula, OK.
For now I am not in a position to take photos because I am in a Jazzy chair and cannot go to the cemetery and take pictures until I can interest someone else to go with me. When things settle down and I can get some help then I will be happy to take photos again. We really enjoyed our times taking pictures to share with others.
One thing remains the same: If there is anything that we have posted (obits, pictures, memorials, etc.) that you could use in your genealogy research please feel free to use them. We only post the information in hopes that family members will find something useful.
Photos you have taken You were kind and took photos of 4 children's graves, which I have questions about. The photos were all done 2012, in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. I am hoping you live close by the area. I am sure you would not recall, least I know I would not, if when you took the pictures if the graves were all next to each other. I would rather not list the memorial numbers here, but if you could email me I will be happy to give them to you. firstname.lastname@example.org Thank you P.S. I am sorry for the loss of your husband, was that this year? I do not want to be a bother to you, I will understand if you cannot help me. Thanks
Bailey Bruce Arwood Hi! First off, I hope your treatment is going, or went well! It's hard to be away from doing research that we love, so I'm sure its a frustrating time for you, physically and work-wise. I send you my best in a healthy recovery.
I'm having trouble placing this gentleman in a cemetery and believe he is related. He passed in 1925, and his first wife is buried in the old Morristown Cemetery. His children, who grew up in Anniston AL, are buried there. The paper that had his obituary and a followup thank you from the family said his body would arrive in Morristown on the Memphis train to be buried in the city cemetery by the Masons. But the person who did the survey of that cemetery says there is no record of him. The Edgemont cemetery in Anniston, where he is actually listed, has no record of him in their office. Any idea if he might be buried with your Arwood's?
Appreciate any help! Again, sending you good thoughts on your recent health issues!
