Jones Irvin Bradshaw's parents
Hey, I'm a descendent of Jones Irvin Bradshaw who is buried in the Bradshaw cemetery in Watauga Co. Where did you get the names of the parents you listed? They're different from my records.

Coffey Cemetery

Here is the link for the cemetery that I wrote to you about.

It's off Rackett Branch Rd and I believe it is north of Globe, NC in Caldwell County.

Nathan Blevins 361911815
Nathan is my 4th GGrandfather and was wondering if you know if his wife, Rachel Skaggs Blevins is buried in the same cemetery. I don't know Rachel's first name.

I can't find Nathan's son, Charles (ca 1790-1884) and wife Sally Roark.

Nathan's grandson, Gabriel Blevins (1817-1885). I think Gabriel and his wife are buried in Greensburg, KY but not sure where.

Any help you can give me I would appreciate.

Thank You

Thank you for taking photos of my ancestor's graves (the Coffeys) at the Leonard Coffey cemetery. It's amazing that you were able to find it. I live in Michigan and hope to one day in the near future to go visit all of their graves. A lot of my ancestor's lived in the Smoky mountains and it appears a lot lived in Caldwell County in the more rural areas. I was just wondering was it really difficult to drive up to the cemetery that you found?

RE: Mertie Mercer Graybeal
Thank you so much. I will put in the request. After I messaged you I kept searching and actually found another memorial for her that was yours as well. The name was Maggie Cora Mercer Graybeal. I love that I found this because it helped me find her mother. I wonder if Maggie was buried in an unmarked grave. I noticed it only had her and the twins in that "cemetery". I do know that they lived on Muddy Branch Rd. Thanks again for the transfer and everything you do so people like me can connect to the past.

Mertie Mercer Graybeal
Well, I just found out that while my great grandmother's name was Maggie, she went by Myrtle. Her mom died right after she was born and there was another Maggie in the family. So I suppose Mertie was an appropriate nickname. My daughter might not have been happy if I have named her Myrtle. :)

Mertie Mercer Graybeal
Hi, I can't believe I finally found this memorial. I am truly hoping you will transfer her to me. This is my great grandmother. Her name is actually Maggie Mercer Graybeal. I named my daughter after her. She was married to Arthur Graybeal(hence the name of the cemetery, but he isn't buried there).
They actually had 7 children, 4 daughters and 3 boys. The two boys you listed were the twins that passed very quickly. Maggie died the next year. Her youngest daughter is still alive and will be 102 in November.
Thanks for considering the transfer.
