I am the current Executive Directory of the Casey Family Assn. Inc.; compiling and researching the Casey family history since 1992, and personally since circa 1982.|
Our particular Clan Casey, even prior to 1725, when immigrating to American shores, has been primarily Scots-Irish Protestants in faith and loyalties. No offense intended to those of other persuasions.
US Navy veteran: CTR3 (Communications Technician, R-brancher), USN (1967-1971). I'm looking for any and all former NSG Hakata, Japan CTs.
I support transfers to known relatives! After all, who is better qualified to manage a memorial than someone with a caring, kinship interest. However, please be somewhat specific in your requests. "This is a relative's memorial" will not suffice in the future. If you're only third cousins, five times removed, please just let me know. I'll probably transfer. Unfortunately, it only takes a few to make the majority of good contributors look bad.
And please let me know if you wish any of my photos removed. Especially the temporary grave markers, in lieu of permanent.
Stop by and pay a visit to my hero dad, Sgt. Raymond L. Casey.
"Our Country! In her intercourse with foreign nations may she always be in the right; but right or wrong, our country!" Stephen Decatur.

I'm wondering about this posting. The Restlawn Memorial Park, Altus< Jackson Co, OK also has him posted in that cemetery. Do you know if they moved his body from Altus, OK by Oklahoma City OK?
If so, I need to delete my posting. Thanks.

I'm not up in that end of town anymore. Remarried last spring and moved back to Southside, where I grew up. I'm just a few blocks from Resthaven Cemetery now.

The 'find a grave sites' are so valuable to linking family members sometimes where there are no other clues.
Thank you for your work.

What a pleasant surprise...
Thank-you for the transfers of Alven and Mary (Gatlin) Feverston. I wish to acknowledge the effort and time you gave in going to the cemetery, photographing the headstones, and then uploading the photos to Find A Grave.
You're a kind man...
God Bless You,

Links done. I transcribed that portion of the newspaper article that pertained to his obituary.
It may interest you to know that his father became a Methodist minister.
