Being an amateur genealogist who has often desired a photograph of the grave of a deceased family member, I get a lot of satisfaction contributing to Find a Grave.

Re: Photos
May I have your permission to use your photos, that pertain to my family, on my Ancestry Tree? Thanks wrmcferrin ID# 46985018

Walter,

The portrait was found at ancestry.com under the family tree public scanned photos. Here is the link:

I happened to locate it online, but didn't record my source at the time. I'll be happy to search for it and get back to you, hopefully, with a link.

As for getting a full-size copy: for temporar, or longlasting purposes for that matter, you could click on the photo at findagrave and print out a good copy using regular or photo paper. I've resorted to that many times, but you may still want to contact the owner of the original instead.

And, although I was born and raised in OK I am not related to Eda. She was our dear neighbor when my family and I lived across the street from her in Purcell, OK.

I'll get back to you about the search results for the photo link,
Sooner

John and Eda Porter - Annetta Cemetery --Beautiful portrait! My aunt and uncle. Any chance I can get a full size digital copy of this photo? I am the grandson of Charles Greer Porter and Lillian Lee Evans. Are you related to John and Eda? Your Oklahoma moniker makes me suspect you are a James. Am I right?

RE: Collin McKinney
I have added some pages of his service record to his memorial. It will show captured in MS & died in IL.

RE: Collin McKinney
Captured in MS transferred to MO prison & then to IL prison. Info can be found on confederate service record at National Archives, microfilm at LDS or public libraries or www.fold3.com. Hope this helps.

Augusta Fuller
In researching my tree I am exploring the chances that Augusta Fuller might be my G-grandmother. Do you have further research on the Fuller tree? The data I am working with has my g-grandmother b 1853 having 2 children under her then married name of Joerns. By 1880 she was widowed. Family history passed down tells me she remarried to a Mr Fuller and had at least 1 child named Florence. This would have occured in Erie county, NY area. Further, the Joerns family I believe my g-grandmother married into may be from the Springville area - althogh transcribers have it as Johns and Joems. Thanx in advance for your time.

The photo you left on JD's memorial is that of his twin brother J.O. (Can you believe twins have names so close?) I have posted the correct photo. When you have the time, you might want to delete your. Wendy

The info reads BILLY and the headstone reads Billie. Shouldn't one be changed. Thank you
