Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Murray Ky and lived in this area all of my life except for about 7 years I lived in southern Ill.
Now im back in Calloway Co. and will probably die here, I hope not to soon though maybe in 40 years or so but if it's sooner then I will not complain because I have had a good life!

Also if there is any wrong info that I have posted or if anyone want's to add to what I have already then just use the suggest a correction feature and I will edit the changes.

Also if you want a memorial I maintain then just use the edit tab and ask for it im not related to 98% of the ones that I made a memorial for but if I am then I will let you know and then see who is more close related.

Ok I was going to add more to my Bio but will later

Thanks so much for taking the time to photograph the Barker stones. I really like having the group shot of the family stones. Nice job! Much appreciation, Karen

Thanks for the nice photos you posted. You may be right about the name change for the cemetery. That
might be something that would need to be researched before any conbination is made of the two. If you are in the area maybe you could check with one of the funeral homes in that area and see what they could tell you about it or who to see to find out.

Dempsey Bean
I wonder if I might have your permission to use the grave marker photos of Dempsey Bean and his wife, Mary J. Beach Bean on my family website. Please see to see how I am using the photos. I will of course give you credit for the photo.

Thank you.

RE: Phelans in Union United Cemetery
Craig, I absolutely agree with you on how helpful background pictures are, particularly when someone wants to visit that grave. Most of the cemeteries I work with are old cemeteries with no office and no custodian and therefore, no one to ask for locations. Iíve noticed that some volunteers get just close-ups of the name and dates, which is great to verify the dates. BUT, if someone is looking for that grave, it is so much harder without a photo of the whole stone, and background pictures are Ďicing on the cakeí. When I make a photo request I usually add a note asking if itís not too much trouble to also take a background photo. Some will and some wonít. I thank you for taking the background photos!!
