Bio Photo Hello, I have spent most of my life helping my mom and listening to my grandmother's stories about our family's history. Which happens to be very distinguished and I am ultimately proud to be part of it!!! Unfortunately my mother passed in 2005 followed by my grandmother in 2008. I have been working diligently to finish the work they started.
I am here to help other people fill in the gaps as well. Please do not hesitate to email me and I will do everything I can to fill your request. Thank you :)

Feel free to use the photos as needed, I just ask that you give me credit. Thank You! I will transfer any pages to their family members.

I recently witnessed a fellow FAG volunteer, and was appalled at their conduct in the cemetery. It is hallowed ground and should be respected, no matter what.
Our cemeteries are the gateways to our past and future!

And most of all...when taking a picture of our ancestors and especially the veterans, please be respectful of the orientation of the photograph. They are the reason we have freedom. Honor them!!

Thank you very much for transferring the memorials of my relatives to me.

I share you sentiments about how cemeteries should be treated. I would think that a Find A Grave volunteer would have respect for cemeteries.

I hope you will keep up the good work you are doing.

And, again, I am most grateful to have my relatives under my management. My grandmother, Mary Elizabeth (PollY) Gordon Johnson told me so much about my Gordon family. I learned to love them very much.

RE: Old Haas Cemetery
On Dec 13, 2014 about 10 guys arrived from St. James Lutheran with weed eaters, push mowers, ride mowers, and leaf blowers and cleaned up the whole cemetery. We also picked up a lot of small American flags in the weeds. The Trail Life boys are going to dispose of them properly and honorably. "Caring For Our Ancestors' Garden"
It took us about one and a half hours.

I took pictures and submitted some of them to the Catawba County Historical Association for their newsletter.

LeeAnne, ever so many thanks for including my family members to the Find A Grave data base.

Maude is a member of my Gordon family - her father was my uncle.

I will greatly appreciate it if you would transfer management of their memorials to me.

Mary Crouch
Hi LeeAnne,

THANK YOU very much for creating the memorial of my 4th great grand aunt, Mary [Barlow] Crouch, her husband, Rev. Jacob Crouch, et al at Three Forks Baptist Church Cemetery. And, I thank you, especially, for taking/posting pictures of their headstones on the memorials.

Would you mind to tell me how the date of birth is known if it is not stated on the headstone? In the instance of Mary and Jacob, only the date of death and the age at death is stated on their headstones. Do you use a birth date calculator to calculate date of birth, or is the date of birth from a cemetery census? I'm just curious - not trying to be 'picky.'

I am most thankful to find these memorials and the pictures of the headstones. Thanks to you, the headstones will now be preserved via your pictures. THANKS AGAIN - your time and your kindness is very much appreciated!

Thank you so much for the photograph! There is no way I would ever have been able to photograph that. The work you volunteers do is amazing.
