I was born and raised in Atlanta, but have lived most of my adulthood in Charlotte, North Carolina. Coincidentally I ended up right where my roots are on my father's side of the family. Genealogy is my passion and I never met a cemetery I didn't like. I'm also into historic preservation, both of buildings and the lives of people no longer with us.|
As the daughter of a general and great-granddaughter of 3 Confederate veterans, I like to note military records of veterans on their findagrave memorials.
I welcome corrections/additions, but will no longer link to a "burial unknown" person. I have found this leads to duplicates.
FAMILIES ON MY FATHER'S SIDE: Irwin, DeWeese, Blackwelder, Babcock, Taylor, Wilbon.
FAMILIES ON MY MOTHER'S SIDE: Bryan, Battle, Pope, Atkinson, Yarbrough, Chappell.

Hay just tell me the ones that has those extra pictures and I'll A.S.A.P. them..You have so many it will take a long time to go throw every person in that cemetery.. so send the number and it will be done.

Ok, i understand, The reason i started to put makers for grave stone location is , people were email saying that they could not find their love so i started to try find some kind of maker that would show were to look for that person...My best guess those pictures come from Sharon Memorial... Right..Concert it done.

Can you give example on what you are talking about. I only add photo's if your photo have came out blurry or unreadable or to fare to see..If i could change the order of the pictures i would have put your first but i cant,And when ever I put a photo and you dont like it just ask i'll take off your memorial. But what is reason to make a memorial if you cant make out the pictures or they are to fare to see what is written on them, Why bother even make'n them if one can make out pictures. And i only put one close up of just the names and dates of that person i dont ever try to over your picture of the hole tombstone.

Thanks for pointing that out Susan.
Very confusing with those two James Boyes's dying 10 days apart and buried in the same cemetery. I imagine they were family, but I don't know how they related. (Oh, that poor family.)

Hi, Susan, I found the Find A Grave memorial for a Luther Honbarger, son of John V. Honbarger, and I'm wondering if he had a brother or half brother named Harlan Vasco "Bill" Honbarger? I don't know if you are related or just created the memorial site doing your volunteer work? I am trying to find any relatives/children of Harlan...I believe my mother may have been married to him in the early 1940s before she married my father. I can find several marriage and divorce records for this Harlan V. Honbarger but none list my mother, Della. If you have any information, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, LLaPage

I added a note-that I needed proof.
I always require proof of a change.
We don't have any choices of the first line- so I used the closest to what I wanted, and on the line under it- I ask for proof.
I will be glad to change it or add to it-or whatever- but require proof.
(Census records, death record or whatever)
