It has been a joy to work on Find-A-Grave during the last 5 years. I have tried to mainly enter memorials that I have photographed, because I feel that photo's don't lie. In our area there have been quite a few entries to Find-A-Grave using old handwritten surveys. I appericate the effort that was taken to get these surveys & the effort to enter them on Find-A-Grave, but the people that did them made many mistakes and have caused families, looking for their loved ones, to not be able to find them. I hope that my photographs have cleared up some of the mess. If you need corrections please use the edit on the memorial. I will transfer, to releatives within the guidelines of Find-A-Grave. |
My main family work is Meador, DeCocq, Sellers, Sanders, Graham, Turner, Lee, Johnson, Devin, & Stephens

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm helping a friend research his family, and his grandmother was one of John's wives - Etta Mae. Her first husband's surname was Lewis, and then she married John, I believe. Would you happen to know what her maiden name was? Thank you for any help you can give me! - Leslie

Are you related to Alva "Pappy" Rouse? If you are, I will be glad to transfer ownership of this memorial page to you. I am not related.

When you visited this cemetery in McDonald Co., MO, were there any stones with inscriptions?
I ran across your posting for Lassie Camplin while adding my brothers to Find-A-Grave. Lassie was my great-grandmother. My grandfather was her son, Nathan.

Ooops. I referred to Rachel as William's mother - Rachel was William D MORGAN's wife and was mother to Charles Grandison MORGAN. Sorry for the mixup.

First of all, let me say THANK YOU for all you do and have done for researchers & families. I so appreciate it. Will you please put me in touch with contributor of middle name for William's mother? Even the name of this contributor would be a help. This is my family and have been searching YEARS for info on Rachel. Thank you again for your contributions and in advance for your help. Linda MORGAN DURBIN
I appreciate the transfer! All is filled in now.

Edna Ada Grayson McCoy was married to James Robert McCoy. His memorial # is 69904127 and he is buried in the McCoy Cemetery. Can you connect them for me? Also please edit her dates. She was born 23 Jul 1872 in Charleston, Franklin, AK, and she died 17 Jan 1948 in Ft Smith, Sebastian, AK. If you are not related, would you please transfer this memorial of my husbands great grandmother over to me. My Find A Grave member number is 47617237.
Thanks for your help!
