Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been working on genealogy since 1990. In the course of that time I've gained a lot of skill in researching. I've written a book about Bernadotte township, and have been a past board member of the Fulton County Illinois historical and genealogical society.

The main surnames that I research are: Barnett, Swise, Johnson, Haverfield, Hoggett, Werry, Strosnider, DeMoss, White, Hale, Russell, Cameron, Cannon, Hughes, Burge, Dennis, Tippey, O'Donnell, Lally, Hunter, and Brewer.

Most of my research centers in Fulton County Illinois in the areas of Lewistown and Bernadotte.

DeMoss surname

How far back have you gotten with your DeMoss surname? I have an Elizabeth Hays married to Peter DeMoss. They had the following children:
Amanda J, Mary J, James W, Thomas P, John T, Luther Main, Martin Y.

Elizabeth is the daughter of James Hays and Isabelle Crail Hays. I come thru a son of James and Isabelle.

I have two lines of the DeMoss worked some, Amanda J who married James S Penny, and Thomas P who married Marila A Castle.

I look forward to hearing from you.

I am Peggy Beadles Derry's youngest daughter, and in reading the information I noticed you had my aunts name as Clara, it is Cora Irene Beadles Bordner.

Thank you.

Hibbard family
Hello! I'm seeking info on the Hibbard family, Horace and his son Lucius are in my direct line. I've put in a photo request for Horace and I've been unable to find where Lucius is buried either in Illinois or Kansas. Thank you.

RE: Tribbett transfers
Thanks so much for the transfers Don. I know what you mean about the death info. That is why I hesitate to enter people into the database until I can absolutely verify the place. I just hope, as you did, that someone eventually comes along and does the cemetery they are actually in.

I will check the Fulton County web site for your book.

Have a Blessed Christmas.
