Taphophilia - love of cemeteries.|
I am a solitary person. I love walking through cemeteries and finding out the stories of people who have passed on. This is a perfect past time for me! And, in the mean time...I am helping others get photos of headstones that they might not otherwise be able to get. What could be better?

You are welcome. We wish it was a better picture but it is a deteriorating stone. He is a distant cousin of mine. Jan

Hi Cathi. I saw the memorial for Edward O.Houlette 92247448 and indicated some edits for you, his middle name, his parents and date of birth. Edward was my grandmother's brother and the information is from family knowledge. He was firstborn of 8 children and was a twin, the twin brother was stillborn and is probably buried at North Branch Presbyterian Cemetery in Center Township with two sisters that died in childhood. I also have the maiden name of his wife, Nell, written down somewhere and when I find it I will let you know. Thank you for taking the time to have created his memorial.

Cathi, the two duplicates that I had in Ohio have been deleted. Thanks for the catch.

I wish there was a headstone, however the signage is better than nothing. Unfortunately, this signage will deteriorate in a few years, and it will become an unmarked grave unless family takes the notion to correct this issue.

Your very welcome, I enjoy taking the photos. On a side note, his stone says died in his 60th year, which would have him born in 1840.
