|I love photography so please don't mind me if I add pictures for a "more scenic" or "more complete" picture of headstones / cemeteries. |
I'm retired military and don't need some people's drama. I'm not about numbers - you can NOT take memorials with you when you too become a memorial. I'm about documenting history and documenting what I SEE, so I am NOT an obituary chaser as many people appear to be.
** Remember that a LOT of the online databases prior to 2000 are NOT always correct and until you've WALKED the cemetery and have the picture to prove it - don't trust what you read from someone that hasn't. I am not an "obituary chaser", if I have created a memorial it is because I have walked the cemetery and will eventually post a photo to go with them OR they are family/friends.
Feel free to borrow pictures, I only ask that you give credit where it's due.
Remember FAG sets GUIDELINES not LAWS, but to copy and post obituaries AND death certificates: falls under copyright laws.

Keep up the good work!
|Carol Bouch White||RE: Sides Cemetery|
Found Adam Sides on Ancestry.Com at being a Civil War Vet. I also found a Veterans Marker beside a stone at Nebo. Since I have a list now I can do some more digging on Ancestry. Both of these cemeteries are very close to where I grew up.

Hi Jan, my name is Judy Haines , David Proctor is my Great-great- grandfather . Thank you for your effort in putting the Proctor Cemetery on Find A Grave.
I have done extensive research on David and his family I have more information you could add to the site if you are interested in doing so . The deed I found of David's first land purchase was in 1858, I just assumed that the cemetery was on land that David owned . If you found documentation that the buterbaughs donated this land I would appreciate having this to add to my research collection ! Thanks again
|John Hartley||RE: Margaret Harbridge Conner|
Does anyone know about Margaret's husband, Simon's mother? Her name was Mary Margaret Frances Drummond. There is a lot of mystery as to who she actually was

Thanks so very much for taking the time to photograph Georges stone for me. I am so very glad that it was still there even though it is not easily readable through your picture. Was you by chance able to read the stone more clearly in person??? I am trying to verify birth and death dates for George.
Thanks so very much! Its much appreciated!

|Kathleen Fisher||Pauline Fisher grave @ St. Michaels|
Thank you so much for doing this! Had no idea there was such a project. Photo you took of my mom's grave is a few years old and we've since had it elevated with a base (along with all Voytus Family gravestoes at that cemetery--family cemetary). Thanks again!
