FIRST LET ME SAY I Will GLADLY TRANSFER A MEMORIAL I have created if they are NOT an ancestor of mine and I welcome any and all corrections or additions. Please feel free to use any photos or info I have posted, Please know that I am not about numbers! |
I am the wife of a Canadian/Texacan, mother of 3 & Meme to 6 so far. We live in Texas now where I have lots of roots close by. I became interested in Family History because of my Uncle Gene. He was collecting family info back when it was very hard compared to now, in the early 50's, way before pc's and the internet. It is thanks to him that I have so many wonderful pictures and info on my father's side of the family. I have had the bug to collect Family History for over 40 years. So I now have over 8000 family names in my PAF file along with thousands of pictures to pass to my descendants.
I love to help others anytime that I am able to. Never have all the time that I would like, but do what I can.
Thanks to all of those that came up with this site, and keep it going, it is a great help to so many.
Shelia Ivy Eyers

You are welcome. The graveyard looks nice and they have built a pavilion there. The trees are missing, but it is looking better.
Shelia I am not related to this family I am helping the great great granddaughter of this couple to help connect the family together. I did go and take photo for her at the cemetery and added memorial for some of the missing family members to help her out.
Thanks for taking the time to update the memorial. Also for making the memorial to begin with.
That was unexpected. I wasn't intended for you to transfer the Whisnant family to me. That was awful sweet of you to do it. They are my 1st & 2nd cousin.
Thanks again and God Bless,

Hi! Thanks for the info. I added the kids and links to the pages of those I could find. If you do parental linking requests for them, I can go back and remove my links in the bios. Just let me know when!
|Old Waco||Smith Family Cemetery|
A few moments ago, I added the only other info. I have seen on the cemetery. I have never been to it. If you are able to add photos or GPS, it will be most appreciated.

|Michele||Elza Lee Long|
My great aunt Vesta Blair Long was married to a Lee Long that share the same death date and death location noted for Elza Lee Long. Vesta is Find A Grave Memorial# 111066624. Do you have any info on Elza. I noticed you had his name as Eliza too. If they are husband wife could you link him to her. I kinda think they are. Thanks Michele

|Judith Holmes Engleman||Andrew Jackson Holmes|
Andrew Jackson Holmes was my great grandfather. My grandfather's name is incorrectly listed in the list of childrens' names. My grandfather's name was Pinkney Elijah Holmes, not Ebner Pink. Most people called him Mr. Pink. Abb Andrew was Abner Andrew, I believe. My father was Doyle Clayton (Jack) Holmes, Jewett, TX.
Thanks for posting the information about AJ Holmes.
