Bio and Links
Bio Photo I helped co-write state laws to protect our cemeteries here in Texas.
I've been Honored by the Texas State Senate, Texas State House of Representatives, The Dallas County Historical Commission for my work in preserving and protecting our cemeteries. I served on The State Senate Advisory Committee as well as being an Advisor to a number of cities in my area pertaining to cemeteries within their city limits. I have helped in clean ups and restoring a number of cemeteries. I believe very strongly in cemetery preservation. Cemeteries in most cases are the only history of those that came before us. Like rare books in a library once it's lost it's lost forever.
I served six years on the Duncanville City Council, two years as mayor pro-tem.
I've been working on family genealogy since 1976. I'm the wife of Wallace Richards.

Chapmans in TN
I see from your profile that your husband must be descended from Chapmans in TN. I am searching for descendants of W.G. and Rebecca Petty Chapman. I understand he is buried there in Ellis Co, Texas. I am a Petty descendant and trying to learn if Rebecca was my gt. gt. grandfather's little sister. We don't know what happened to her.

Washington Mable
Thank you for supplying the information for Washington Mable. That information has been applied to his site and certainly enriches that site. I can not for the life of me figure out why he was not in my virtual cemetery for the 300+ members of that battalion who were lost in Vietnam. I had noticed that my numbers seemed off. I think there were suppose to be 322 and its only 319 so I don't know what happened there. Thank you again for providing all of the facts.
