Hello
I photographed several of the tombstones in the Keithley cemetery on Saturday and I was logging the information into my database when I ran across something that I needed to verify. I show both a Nancy E and a Nancy P Keithley. Since you seem to have a lot of information on the Keithley family can you look at the information on Findagrave and tell me if the information for both of them is correct? I believe I have photos of both of their tombstones but they are both hard to read and I forgot to take my chalk to help make the writing show up better.

Good morning,
The first Cottle in my Tree is Oliver Thomas Cottle husband of Laura Elizabeth White. She was the daughter of Elizabeth Leak and Thomas Larkin White.
Thomas White was a brother of James White who was my great grandfather.
My father, Stuart Edwards White was born and raised in St. Charles. However, I do not remember he visiting and/or talking about any of his White relatives in St. Charles. His sister, Gladys White Vaughn lived in Memphis, TN all of her teenage and adult life.
I found the Cottles via Find a Grave searching Whites in Oak Grove Cemetery and the tombstone picture of the tombstone you posted on Laura Elizabeth's memorial, which see you posted. For that I thank you.

Hi Patricia
Thank you for your most pleasant response. There is a "lot" of Howell History associated with that little cemetery. In Sept. 1981, one could hardly recognize it as a cemetery. Dad and I cleared out all of the brush and undergrowth so we could get a reading from the Headstones. Dad repaired a couple of the stones; see Nellie Howell, #6474820. By spring of 1982, we could go in with small power mowers and weed-whackers(sp?) and have it taken care of in less than a hour. About the photos; thanks for the offer, but I have a photo of almost every contribution I've made to FindaGrave. Not sure what you have about the Howell/Gilliland connection, but I do have some info I would be happy to share.

Elizziebeth Howell was my 2nd Great Aunt. Her husband Samuel Howell was a brother to my 2nd Great Grandfather, ROBERT. The spelling of her name on this record, is from her headstone Her Maiden Name Was Wealty
Her Name was given as Elizabeth on the 1880, Lincoln Co., Bedford Township Census.
Will add this info to her bio as soon as I can.
