I'm retired from General Motors after 40 years. Since retiring, my full time job is babysitting my two grandsons. I have been doing Genealogy for about 15 years. I take my camera everywhere I go, just in case I find a cemetery that might have ancestors buried there, fondly referred to as "Cemetery Stomping". I have three children and six grandchildren. I love to flower garden, scrapbook and watch sports. I am just starting to input my records into the Find A Grave database. Ancestors names: Caron, Clevenger, Dorsey, Emrick, Gross, Hamsher, Huelsman, Osburn, Powell, Roberts, Schaeffer/Shaffer, Sheeley, and Whisman mostly from Ohio, Ind, Ky, Pa & NC. If I have entered any data incorrectly, please let me know. If you have any new information including obituaries, please use the EDIT button, do not list obits in the flower and note area. You may use my photos for personal use, but please list my name as source. I will try to give burial location with the photo, you must enlarge the photo to retrieve this info, also any corrections.

Thank You for posting a picture of my Dad and Mom's grave. However, I haven't been able to get out there to see if my Mom and my Little Brother Timmy Allread have been interred . Would you happen to know? I am on the busline and the bus doesn't go out there. Trissel says that Timmy and my Mom Evelyn are both buried there (they were cremated) So I don't know if they are are not and I do not know if Timmy has a stone on his, that is what is worrying me, because if he is buried I and doesn't have a stone I would like to buy one and have it put up for him. Would you happen to know where my little Brother is? Or if he does have a stone? Its been almost 8 months and it still hits me like a brick. I loved my Little Brother. I remember on my birthday, he was about 6 years old and took his allowance and walked all the way to Munsons and bought me a dozen carnations. That is the Timmy I remember. My family is in lot #149, 5 graves, Timmy is supposed to be in #149-3. Anything would be appreciated. My email is harriet.allread@aol.com. Thank You, Susie Allread

RE: Franklin Riegel
It is NOT about accuracy, but about the fact that when you search Find A Grave for WillIAm and the entry is spelled WillAIm, Find A Grave will NOT list Willaim in the results, and so the entry is lost to those who may want to see it. A pity of all the trouble, eh?
So a simple correction will make that entry available to searchers.
I do not live in North America, so I do not have graveyards to go to to list and/or photograph, but I DID have family that lived in USA/Canada, and I put them on Find A Grave. No, not more than about 100.
As I did abt 8000 corrections, it is as if I put 8000 entries on Find A Grave, in other words 8000 records can now be found by searchers using the original name. That is my contribution to Find A Grave.
A wonderul site: Findagrave!
