James, I clicked on your link and was reading about your Paul Stafford Durham and his brothers service in the Marines. It struck me, I bet they never knew that they were serving with 2 brothers that were their cousins at those very battles. My great uncles both served in the marines in WWII and in Korea. I have an old news paper article that my grandma saved and it mentions both those battles. We are descendants of Cyril Durham. E Ferguson.

New (2015) developments on the burial locale for my uncle, Chester M Durham. Recently, US Army records have been declassified and made public, which reveal errors in his current findagrave biography. Please correct his place of birth to Jacinto, Dallas County, AR, as listed in his US Army enlistment records. Also, according to Missing Air Crew Report #11126, the B-17G was hit northeast of ZEITZ, Germany after dropping its bombs on the Brabag Synthetic Oil Plant. Chester M Durham's id tags were recovered in the plane's nose section at its crash site in the Forest Oberholz, near Großpösna, Germany. The Germans buried his remains in the Großpösna Cemetery and reported this location to the US Army in Jan 1945. lorelei1026

Find A Grave Memorial #85650891
JiM: Will you please clean the Request for Photo from her memorial. I can appreciate why you are not able to take the photo now.
If you clear the request, maybe someone else can go out there to take a photo.
Thank you so very, very much,

FYI The find a grave memorial #84623058 has the name spelled Gaylor, but the stone has Gayler.

69963129 I have some correction if you dont mind,
The information that I have is that her name was
Sarah G Malme
she married widower James Franks Selman (this is the way we spell our name) in 1901 in McCulloch County.
She was his 3rd wife
The children list are two of her 6 step-children.
She married James Selman at the age 56 so that union did not produce any children.
I have not researched her as she is not of my blood line so she may have had other grown children, I do not know,
|Charles E. Carroll||RE: Eunice Cunningham|
Jim, Evidently Eunice married twice after Mr. Cunningham died. SSN records list her as Eunice Temple and lastly listed as Eunice M. Daniel.
|Sterling Foster||Winnie Mae Chambers|
You have suggested adding an obituary for Winnie Mae but her memorial already has one from another paper. Did you want me add another one? If this is someone related to you would you prefer I transfer this to you?
|Rosemarie||Ignatius West, West Cemetery, Chatham Co NC|
You placed the memorial 55998994 for Ignatius West on Find a Grave. Are you related?
Looking for his parents and also proof of a daughter, Nancy West, born 1775, Chatham Co NC.
Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
|Janine L Hunter||Birth Location for Chester Mark Durham|
Hi James, See you are still at tracking all of the Durhams in America. I was wondering where you obtained the information that Chester Mark Durham was born in Haskell County, OK? We previously have communicated about him and I am his niece. Even I, his closest living relative doing genealogy, cannot say with certainty that he was born in Haskell County, OK. Yes, his family did live there in 1910, but my father, his brother, was born in Dallas County, AR, in Jul 1917 and their father registered for the WWI draft in Dallas County, AR, in Sep 1918. So, I really would be interested in knowing the source for this birth location. Janine
