I have been searching for family since my second son was born in 1994. |
I am interested in the following families: Akers, Allison, Bublitz, Collins, Cooper, Crowder, French, Harshman, Holstine, Isham, James, Kammer, Mayfield, Nelson, Nichols, Nix, Peyton, Smythe, Strickland, Vernon, Villwock, Zeigler.
I will be happy to take pictures at Greenwood Cemetery, Dallas Tx and those in Duncanville, DeSoto, Ennis, Cedar Hill, Ovilla, Red Oak, Pecan Hill, Waxachaie TX
I would like to thank everyone who uses this site for the wonderful photos and bio's of our loved ones, may they never be forgotten.
Please let me know if you notice any mistakes on posted memorials and I will fix them promptly.
I will be happy to transfer direct family members, please do not request more as it takes considerable amount of time to enter all this information. I WILL NOT transfer entire families because you want a whole family in a certin cemetery. Direct family members would be within four generations such as great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, or siblings. Transfer request must also contain relationship. Please send request for transfer through the correction tab it makes it eaiser to locate the memorial.

Dear Ms. Smythe,
I am grateful to you for maintaining the Find a Grave website of Peyton Randolph Bailey, my great grandfather. I wonder if you would consider transferring the site to me, as you said you would be happy to do so. I would be so grateful.

Are you looking for her ?
|Kathleen Hill||James B. Vernon Memorial # 36673836|
I am interested in information about William "Willie" T. Vernon, son of James B. Vernon and Izorah Frazier.
William married a family cousin, Emily Cora Hays.
I have tracked William up to 1945 when he was the informant on his and Cora's son Bury Earl Vernon's Death Record.
1. Do you know what happened to William after 1945 when he was in Cameron Co. Texas?
2. Do you know what happened to William and Cora's other son, James Howard Vernon, born 1905, after the 1930 Census when he was in Cameron Co. TX, Single, with his father William and brother Bury?
FYI - I have created Bury's Memorial and Cora's has just been transferred to me.
Any clues at all would be most appreciated.

Thanks for the transfer, Boy, is the new headstone messed up! I have updated the page with the correct data for the person buried there. Thank you for making it possible to do so.

Sorry to report that there is no grave marker for Rose Villwock in Block 16, Lot 89 at Arlington Park Cemetery in Greenfield, WI. Iíve added a photo of the general area of Lot 89 to her memorial.
In addition, Iíve put together some information about the layout of Lot 89, including the four markers that are located there. Itís in a Word document that Iíd be happy to send to you via the e-mail address in your profile. Let me know if youíre interested.

U can help with Bettie's sister Virginia B Mcwhorter.
She was born in Va in 1851. A biography of her half brother William Booker Featherston Jr indicates she died in 1883 (History of Texas and Texans, 1914). I found her in the 1880 census as Jinnie B Mcworter, wife of Pvt William Diver Mcworter, Texas.
He has a Find a grave entry as McWhorter, with a bio that mentions Jennie Featherton as his third wife.
