I got on here to ask permission to use a picture you have taken, on my Chappell family which runs into Sledge, etc.
But I see from some of your names that we must share some surnames.
Goodwin (unless it is Theop) Savage, Scott, Harris, more than likely.

Hello Jeremy!
I ended up spending about three days on all these men of the same name...and decided it didn't matter after all...I'm sure they must share a common ancestor...or it's locally historic cousin married one of them..and that was very very long ago.
But I thank you for offering to research it.
Your probably cousin a few times over.

Jeremy, Hello!
Fascinated with the several men named Tennyson
Cheshire or some version of that name, as a cousin, Mary Gray married such a man in 1800 Wilkes Co NC.

I noted you have one here born 1794 - 114520491.

I've seen one in Maryland, one or more in Alabama and Georgia. I don't know if Mary's husband was the one in GA or AL or if they stayed in Lincoln Co TN, but he was born 1774. I see one served in War of 1812.

Would you happen to know if the one you made the memorial for, is a son of my Mary Gray and Tennyson Cheshire? Or which one went where?

Thank you for your time.

RE: Message confusion
Hi Jeremy,

I too have spent countless hours connecting
the memorial in Western Colbert County where
I was raised. Perhaps our paths have crossed.
