Born and raised in Western South Dakota with strong Germans from Russia roots, but now live in Tennessee. Primary family lines I'm following include: Schaefer/Lux/Deutsch/Littau/Drefs/Mundt/ Schatzthauer/Hogg...and then some. Would like to find the final resting places of as many relatives in the US as I can, but am going to need some help. In return I'm hoping I can assist folks looking for families in the Memphis area.|
If you'd like a memorial transferred to you just ask, follow the FAG guideline of including your ID #, and unless they are part of my family tree, I'd love to transfer them to you. If they are part of your tree they belong with you not me. My pay-off is in connecting folks up with their history.

Thank you for taking the time to lookup and then provide the photographs for my Great Aunt and Uncle (William Marvin Parkey and Mary Jane CATES Parkey). I really appreciate you doing this.

Dear Mr Schaefer, Disregard the last message. Findagrave sent me two messages from you. The second email was the one I should have read first. Thank you so much for taking the time to go out to the cemetery. Even though there was no marker it is a beautiful place.

Dear Mr Schaefer, I received a message from findagrave that a photo request of my Aunt Mabel Porter Kitchen's grave marker had been fulfilled by you. However, when I looked at the photo the only marker I could see was so far in the distance that I couldn't make out the name. Was there no marker for her?

Thank you for the photo of his marker. I appreciate it.

Dale, thanks for trying to solve this mystery, I wonder where they are buried? I have several other family members trying to locate information that may lead to their location. Thanks again, Skip

Thanks for adding John Calvin Cates to FindAGrave. I found it by just searching on Elmwood. John was my Grand Uncle.

You are welcome. Lionel

Thanks in taking the photo of my kinfolk, Edward Parker. It is better to have an idea where one is buried than not knowing.
