|I am interested in history and genealogy. I enjoy learning about the life of each person I manage a memorial for, every tidbit of information brings their lives and times to life for me. History rarely teaches us about the average Joe,or even about the everyday life of those memorialized on the pages of a history book, but here, every life memorialized can teach and inspire! These are not just names and numbers to me, each memorial represents a living, breathing part of history, a chronicle of their lives, their loves, their losses, their joys and pain, their achievements and goals. I am excited to be a member of the FAG community and I hope I can make the families of every memorial I am the caretaker of proud.|
My hobby is researching my family tree. I also compile historical information about African American and American Indian families in my area in an effort to preserve their cultural history and am always excited to answer any questions about memorials placed for these people that I can help with. I try to be as accurate as possible when putting up memorials both for my family and those I am not related to. I will research each one to the best of my ability. If you know about a memorial on my list, please feel free to email me with edits, updates, info, I will do my best to make corrections as fast as possible and welcome any additional information that can be provided.
If using any of my memorials for genealogical purposes, please be aware that most of my information is gathered from the internet, for the most accurate information possible I encourage you to do your own research to verify anything found on the memorial. If you would like a list of sources for information on my memorials, feel free to email me and I will be happy to provide them as I have time to do so.
Some family surnames I am researching include: Barton/ Carver/ Turnbloom/ Bartley/ Henson/ Gilliland/ Kessner/ Cecil/ Cissell/ Mattingly/ Escue/ Nichols/ Palmer/ Baker/ Warmath
Feel free to reuse any pictures that I have personally put up on the site, these are either pictures I have personally taken or public domain usage pictures. Credit is not necessary, but always appreciated. Please remember that not all of the pictures on the memorials I manage are mine and may require additional permissions.
I am happy to transfer any memorial that belongs to anyone I or my husband are not related to, you do not have to fall within the FAG guidelines, feel free to ask, I think memorials should belong to the deceased's loved ones, friend or family because those are who would know them best.
Happy Grave Hunting!

Thank your for the kind note.

No relation. I created some memorials for the Tuckers at Concord Cemetery and I try to do a little research on them and locate their families. Thanks anyway.
You're very welcome.

It was my pleasure to add anything pertinent to their memorials. I will transfer the Gillilands you have in your "virtual cemetery" to you after I get done with this message, and if you see any more you wish transferred that I have created, you could go to the edit button and request a transfer and I can do that, that way I am not giving you any that you may not want. And, no, you didn't send too many edits - it's all important!

Thank you for the additional information on John Gilliland, memorial #107201979, and Samuel Collins, memorial #122968597. I am not related to either family so if you would like any Gilliland or Collins family I have created just let me know as I would be glad to transfer. Thanks again!

How very sweet of you to say such! You're exactly the audience for whom I'm adding them, though I confess to abhoring a vacuum in the bio section. Though these (and most) weren't my family, they were certainly neighbors, so I really owe them more effort than is showing. Thanks for giving them (and me) a boost!
