Details and record keeping make my heart sing. In 2014, my general addiction to genealogy became more focused on FindAGrave and headstone pictures, primarily in the Lehi City Cemetery.

As an unintended blessing, I was asked to became the steward over 5000+ FindAGrave Memorials created by the Utah State Historical Society in February 2000 for the Lehi City Cemetery. Since the year 2000, many of the memorials needed cleaning up and verification. There were names misspelled, dates missing, plots missing, birth/death locations not entered, and subsequent duplication of memorials because of the above issues.

I've been trying to update information on the memorials and verify them with multiple creditable sources including Lehi City Cemetery's Sexton's Office, NamesInStone.com (prior to 2022 Lehi City Cemetery's record keeping service), FamilySearch.com, and Ancestry.com. The last two are genealogy databases that link sources such as marriage, birth, death, and census records to verify data.

My two goals are to help individuals access creditable memorials and get to know their ancestors as people and not just names on a family tree.
