RE: Catherine & Stephen Kesler
Hi Paul,
I see you have the photo's of their headstones.Thank you. The US Census has their name as Kessler and Kesler, The headstone is Kesler. I really appreciate that you reached out to me to let me know they are buried at Walnut Hill. I will research the rest of the family to see if I can connect them.

Thanks again.

RE: Sarah Cornelison Kesler
Mystery solved on Catherine and Stephen Kessler. Catherine is the sister of William Cornelison. Wilma Becker my cousin confirmed that information for me and I found on Catherine married Stephen Kessler Sept 24, 1857. Together they had 4 children, John W Kessler, Samuel R Kessler, Mary Bell Kessler and Mable Kessler. With your find of Catherine and Stephen I can put a date of death on my Ancestry tree. Do they have headstones and did you take pictures of them?
Thanks again for your information.

RE: Rhoades
Thanks for the info Paul. I will look into it further. I was walking the cemeteries but had to stop because of a health problem. I sure enjoyed doing it for families. It is great you have been doing it for so long. Would like to meet you sometime.

RE: Sarah Cornelison Kesler
I will have to contact Wilma Becker, as she has more complete records on the Cornelison's and the Kesler's. I know in my genealogy research of this family they spelled their name 2 different ways Kesler and Kessler. I appreciate you finding these other people as I am sure they must be related somehow. I will let you know if I find information you can add to the memorials you set up for them.

RE: Sarah Cornelison Kesler
Hi Paul,
No, I had no idea there was another person buried next to Sarah. Sarah was married to Samuel Peter Kesler and he is buried in Guthrie County IA next to his parents. Sarah and Samuel had 4 children Charles, Edward, Royal and Edna. In looking at the children of their children Royal had a son by the name of Loras John Kesler 1936 to 1954. However I can not guarantee that is who is buried there. I do not have any records of a Catherine or Stephen. Sarah would be my 3rd cousin 2X removed. William and Maria were her parents. I would have to do some more research on this family to see how Catherine and Stephen are related.
Thanks for setting up memorials for them.

Thanks a ton for the information on the Messner buried in Walnut Hill and Memorial Park Cemetery in Council bluffs Iowa. It helpede a ton in my research. I was able to identify each one and find most of the birth and death dates. Leroy must have died young as I did not find him after 1895. I plan a trip to Council Bluffs to do more research and get obits. You are a peach

Spera Transfer
Hello Paul,
I do have more info on Weidner Spera`s civil war service. Some is quite detailed.
Am willing to attempt a bio. if you would like to transfer. It would be great if we could find his descendants.
As for the Iowa Benner`s. There were 6 Benner men who came to America around 1720-40. They settled around Philly. I`m able to take my line to Chester, County, Pa. 1815. There is a separate line that headed to Ohio around 1800. Thinking a few kept going west ???

Hi Paul,

I added all I knew through posts. I only have one Perkins in my posts and that's Susana Perkins in Cole County. When you get your proof you can contact the original posters to have them add info. I only know the info you and I looked up and I've already ask volunteers to post that. Good luck with your Perkin's searches.

Dr. Richard Weddle,
Thank you for the information, I will try to see if I can get in touch with his family and let them know. It's nice to find kind people on Find A Grave that care about family.
