Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a relative new-comer to the genealogy field, although I have loved history all of my life. My research interests are primarily focused on the following family names: Gentry, Moore, Skeen, Lowman, Geers, Hart, Adams, Alexander, Wallace, Cecil, Lowe, Harp, Rhorer, and Booth. My genes run through Kentucky and Georgia with feeders from Ohio, Virginia, and the middle-Atlantic states. Many of my ancestors made the treacherous trip to settle the "wild west" and I am on their trail as well! I have discovered links to my German (Hessian) heritage as well as to French and British ancestors.
I enjoy discovering and photographing grave markers, so let me know if I can help with yours. I will reply to let you know if I believe I can help out.
PLEASE: If you would like to use a photograph for your own purposes that I have posted on this site, you are welcome to do so. I would, however, appreciate receiving a credit or acknowledgement of that fact. Thank you.

RE: Photo for Laura Emily Trimble
Hi Mark.... I did not post the photo to her memorial because I'm not convinced she is actually buried there. She is not listed in the cemetery database. She may have been buried elsewhere, as so many years passed by between their deaths. I found her obit but it does not say where she was buried. Found so many that had their names onthe grave marker that either remarried for moved and buried in the area they moved to. Sooo, still a mystery
"LAURA EMILY TRIMBLE, 84, of Lakeland died Tuesday at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. A native of Catlettsburg, Ky., she moved to this area in 1985 from Springfield, Ohio. She worked in real estate sales and was Baptist. She is survived by two sisters, Frances Everling and Jessie Vinger, both of Lakeland; and two brothers, Charles Oliver of Springfield and Elmer Oliver of Minford, Ohio. Lanier Funeral Home, Lakeland."

Walter L Booth - FAG
I have approved your suggestions, but I wondered if you really meant that Walter L Booth was born and died in Madison County, or if your intention was Madison city in Morgan County. It is a common error.

Please see my note at your request, this cannot be fulfulled because the CENTRAL area represents most of the cemetery, and there are no lot markers on the ground. There needs to be a section letter or number within the CENTRAL area so that this plot can be found, thanks!
I recently had occasion to go near this cem, but since I could not find the plot with this info a couple of weeks ago, I did not bother to try again.

RE: Transfers of John & Louisa Sharp Gentry
No problem, but see the NOTE at the cemetery, if you are not familiar with this area.
I occasionally ride my bicycle into Athens and took most of the images here without realizing that these were in fact two cemeteries that are side by side.

RE: Photo of William Cook Marker - Lexington Cemetery
Your welcome. The marker looks as if about 20-30% is buried. I can't help but wonder if at some point it broke and was buried. Anyway... YW

I have transferred her memorial over to you so that you can jiggle her names around however you like. :D

Seriously, I am happy to have her under the care of someone who is interested in her.

And I got a chuckle out of your sweet SACs. It's all good.
