Bio Photo My mother, Norita Helen Timmer, was responsible for introducing me to genealogy as a girl. After she died when I was 16, I put it on the shelf but in my 20s took it up again.

Below are locations and surnames that are of great genealogical interest to me.

Stearns County, Minnesota:
Timmer, Flottemesch, Westkaemper, Kulzer, Dirkes, Thoennes, Heinen, Wengeler, Reller, Richter, Lenarz, Baggenstoss, Philliper, Lakmann, Pfau and many more.

Humboldt County, Iowa:
De Groote, Meijer, Ketman, Pavey, Meranda, Britt, Eernisse, De Smidt, Schreuder/Shroeder, Bartley, Tellier, Ferris, and many more.

Hamilton County, Ohio:
Strong, Meranda, Moak, Stites, Newland, etc.

Carroll County, Missouri:
Johnson, Jones, Struck, Cox, Young, Key, Woolsey, Crumpley, Christie

RE: Ben Timmer 1850-1917
Hi Karen,
I'm sitting with Maureen Timmer Britton, and she is asking if you would mind sending her your mailing address at home so she can correspond directly. Email me at cbeebe3511@gmail.com

They were divorced sometime when the kids were small, and he moved to Lormira, WI. Minnie remarried to Ole Setter. Waiting to hear from you so we can get acquainted.

Best wishes,
Maureen

Ben Timmer 1850-1917
Karen,
My friend, Maureen Timmer Britton, is looking at some of her ancestors. We found the Benedict Timmer Memorial, and thank you for the information an pictures.

I am curious about Ben Timmer born in 1858 in Missouri. Do you have any information on him?

Her grandfather was Frank Timmer 5 Jun 1888 in Melrose, MN, and died in Lomira, WI, 1958. Do you have any information on these two people?

Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Cathy

Abraham Runyan
I have information regarding Abraham Runyan if you are still interested. He was the son of Noah and Anna Barnes Runyan.
Noah Runyan (1777-1839) was Abraham's Great Uncle.

Marie Haffke Thoennes
Hello Karen,

Marie Haffke Thoennes was my Great Great Grandmother. Her daughter Katherine was my Grandfather George Koeplin"s mother.
I am looking for any information about Marie. I know she was from Germany but that is all. I have no family information about her. If you can help with any info I would greatly appreciate it.

Best Regards,

Dani Thibodeaux

I live out in Washington state, but have come back to IA and OH to do Moak and related research. I'm just now trying to get my tombstone photos attached in Find A Grave and trying to get biographical stuff up. It's always nice to find others who are following the same lines!
