I started with cemeteries as a place to walk, but I started to notice the condition of the older stones, including my own ancestors. I didn't want others not to have these valuable bits of information to bring their own families together. So I walk and take pictures, the best of both worlds.

I give my permission for the use of my pictures for your family's search.

RE: Cavalry Cemetery, Erie - search for aunt/uncle's graves
I found the pictures that I was talking about. They are kind of poor quality, but I will upload them later today.

Jares headstones

Good work! I think you are right. The dates match up in my own records. Thank you for your quick response! Sincerely, Laura

# 9281900 Nellie Jares

You photographed Nellie Jares's (9281900)headstone in Calvary Cemetery in Erie a while back. I am looking for her husband's stone and was wondering if he was buried with her. His name was Leo Jares (Jaroszewski originally). I know you post a LOT of photos, but thought it would be worth asking. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer. Sincerely, Laura Zamperini

Please delete your posting, as I am a family member and he already has a page. Plus, he is w whole sibling, not a half sibling.

I believe your posting is incorrect. I have already made her page with the correct headstones. Could you please delete your page? Thanks. MAG

Doerrlers in Trinity Cemetery, Erie PA
Just curious if you are related, Sandra?
I found a newspaper item linking Philip Doerrler of Erie as brother of Peter Dorler of Dunkirk, NY (and probably Franz/Frank, too) Have more information on Dunkirk families if anyone is interested. All are on findagrave, search Dorler in Chautauqua County, NY.
