Bio Photo Now residing in Berks County, Reading, Pennsylvania, John Haile was reared in the coal regions of Shamokin, Pa, located in Northumberland County. Projects include a complete compilation of burial data in St. Edward's Cemetery (7,474 known graves), Shamokin/Coal Township, Pa., including digital photographs of all grave stones/markers, range by range, lot by lot and name by name, including gravesites which do not bear a marker or gravestone. Using the same methodology as the St Edward's project, burial data on the burials in St. Stanislaus Polish Cemetery (6,604 burials!), St Michael's Lithuanian Cemetery (960 burials), and St. Mary's Slovak Cemetery (972 burials) have been completed and uploaded to findagrave. Thanks so much for the pic, I suppose they didnt have the money for the childrens headstones. John and Antoinette were russian immigrants, most of their children died young from disease, The father John was crushed by a rock in a mining accident,their son Leon grew up to be a violent criminal that repeatedly made front line news and was eventually killed in a bar fight. Nonetheless I appreciate your efforts in looking for this rowdy bunch. Happy searching.
