ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS AND TRANSFER REQUESTS
Please let us know of any mistakes, additional information or transfer requests by using the "Suggest a correction or provide additional information" link under the [Edit] tab located on the top right corner of each memorial page.
If you are requesting the addition of birth or death locations within the U.S., please include the name of the county. Some states have multiple cities with the same name and we won't know which one to pick.
MEMORIALS MANAGED
We were asked to manage memorials created by two other members in the Odd Fellows Cemetery and Masonic Memorial Park in Tumwater and Forest Memorial in Olympia. That accounts for the difference in our added and managed numbers.

Find A Grave Rules and FAQs
Please read rule #146 in the FAQ's about using the Burial: Unknown feature.
We prefer not to link our memorials to those listed as Burial: Unknown since they might be deleted after the 30 day time limit to update the location has expired, so please don't ask. Thank you.

PHOTOGRAPHS
Recently there was a discussion in the forums about what we should or shouldn't do when photographing markers and we found the below quote by Admin AJ helpful and thought other members might as well.
"Photograph the grave/gravesite "in-situ", or as it appears in that moment in time. The purpose is to show the grave as it is, be it dirty, cluttered, broken, or pristine. It is not your job to clean it, clear it, fix it, or decorate it. The graves are not yours to do as you please. Remember, one person's "good deed" just might be another person's vandalism. Go take lots of photos...but do it like an anthropologist and do not disturb the grave site."

 | RE: Permelia Daniels hello there,
Certainly....I will remove it. I am so sorry...I meant to take it off sooner and then got distracted.
I hope you're enjoying the sun!

 | RE: Elmer Brown No worries. I know that you and your husband are super consciences and thought you would like to know that about Conrad Hoska. He has such a beautiful marker. There is also a very ornate bird bath near his plot, but it is now filled with weeds. So hard to keep up with all these things. I hope there aren't two Elmer Browns and I am sorry the other person didn't respond. I never heard from them, either. Best wishes and enjoy the good weather.Added by Alice on Jun 16, 2013 3:44 PM | | | Dwayne Hawpe

 | Thanks so much... ...for transferring the memorial for Ardeth DeGarmo to me. I promise to care for it well. And many thanks for what you've done on Findagrave.

 | Edwall & Spring Creek Cemetery Thank You for the information on Despain. It appears these were duplicated when a spreadsheet was uploaded, I have since deleted the memorials from Spring Creek. | | | Alice
 | RE: Elmer Brown I did send a note. Perhaps the two of you could correspond and share information. It is hard when both have gone the distance and I really thank you so much. We are working hard to get OTC online - huge job. I think we are more than halfway there.Added by Alice on Jun 04, 2013 10:40 PM | | | | [View all messages...] |
