I am helping my mother with her genealogy research by locating our ancestors' graves. Then, I got involved with several friends, helping them create their trees and memorials. You can see the names we are following in my virtual cemeteries. Along the way, I have found others' ancestors and created their pages. Now I have documented our ancestry to Col. Daniel Boone which was very interesting. And, finding the "Women of the American Revolution." Next trying to break down several "brick walls."
If I have entered any information that is incorrect, please contact me for a correction. I want to keep the information as accurate as possible.
I'm happy to transfer management to family members, just ask! Please use the "Edit" tab and "Suggest a Correction" when doing so and remember to give your member# along with your relationship or reason for the transfer.
I believe that memorials should belong to family members whenever possible, as family have a personal interest in honoring their relatives and are better able to complete, maintain and improve memorials with additional details and research. I am more than willing to have family members "adopt" them.
Please feel free to use any photos I have posted in your research work. © Photo courtesy of Find-a-grave member #47361005

I am just looking for some clarification as I noticed there is no photo or cemetery record sourced, is there a source for this grave other than 'family records." If not, what are the family source records?

I am just glad I was able to find those two. There are so many old and broken stones in this cemetery. I went to city hall to get the information on where I could find these, as well as several others. There was a sign in the office asking for donations to help with repairing some of them. Although I live in Kansas, I have some relatives buried there and so I donated to the cause. Wish I could do more.... :-(

There is NO record of this person (# 47671119) in this cemetery. Please transfer him to "unknown cemetery."
|Lyn McDaniel||RE: You sent me a message with no email to respond|
Thanks for the quick reply; it came through the FindAGrave system. I didnít know you were as closely related as I, so itís fine if your keep Joseph. Only thing I wonder about is where the middle initial ďLĒ came from. Iíve never seen him with a middle name in nearly 40 years of work. I wonder if someone didnít make it up? Otherwise, everything you have matches what I have. Have you actually seen his grave? No one has, that Iíve talked to.
I have a lot more details about him, and if youíd like to chat, my addr. is LLMCD2005 at yahoo.com.

You are very welcome. I forgot that I did that. I thought that plaque was so beautiful.
I would like to pick up your photo request but Sparkman Hillcrest (SH) does not like to provide burial locations to volunteers, citing privacy issues. Your cooperation is needed in order for requests to be filled. The volunteers will need you to call SH and request the location. Their phone number is 214-363-5401. Once you have the location, please add it to your request. Thanks.

Photos are put on the original memorial page and deleted from the duplicate.

|Jane Ordway Carman||RE: Anne Ordway memorial #6879080|
The first gravestone, the original one for Ann Emery Ordway, is at First Parish Burying Ground, Newbury, MA. The two pictures that reads In Memory of James Ordway born 1618 and his wife Ann Emery were taken at the First Burying Ground Newbury, MA.
Ann Emery Ordway's original grave marker is suppose to be the oldest, still standing marker in Newpury, MA.
Technically, the second and third pictures should be on your post:
First Burying Ground
That first picture was taken at:
First Parish Burying Ground
Hopefully, this clears up the confusion.

Okay . . . Thanks for letting me know this information. So are you saying that there will be 2 memorials for the same person, because they are in different cemeteries? Where are her remains actually buried? That may have been on the other memorial, but I don't remember seeing that. Plus, I thought the one type of memorial, if set up correctly, did not allow any relationship links. That may also be the problem. Thanks again and sorry for your extra work.
|rl||RE: WOW! Thank you|
Hi -- I'm really glad you like the photos and that you found other family members. I expect to be down there again sometime in the next week or so, and I'll get Henry Knieper for you.
