RE: Willam Stewart MacAulay
Hi Ian,

You are welcome. I just about missed his marker in Queens Park Cemetery. Sorry it was not too informative.

RE: Nova Scotia
Hi Ian,
I think you will be pleased with all the photos we got for you at Black Brook Cemetery in Cape Breton. It took 4 of us and we had a pleasant afternoon! Two of the stones had folks from Oist, Scotland, in the Hebrides.
We found 2 of the 3 you had asked for. We did not find Ronald.
My husband will contact you via email to work out how to get the photos to you.
Thanks for an enjoyable project. Carol

I am willing to do photo requests at Ocean View if you can find out where the people are buried. Requests of this nature must be done by relatives.

Use the following to contact them:

RE: thanks for the help, again
Thank you so much for your very kind words. Have found obituary notices for some of the MacAulay's in Queens Park, and have transcribed them onto their bio's.

RE: William MacCaulay
You are quite welcome. It was quite the coincidence to run into the same worker. He said often the area under the burial site can sink as the tree grows. Usually the roots will hold up the marker but not always. Glad I could follow up on that and I also learned something today.

RE: Thank you
My pleasure Ian. It was frustrating that we could not work out where John and Isaac were buried, but I figured that at least a picture of where they ought to be might provide some clues - or not, if there's no connection with the Robson family.

I have a couple of maps of the graves if you are interested (possible to print off at the cemetery) one of which shows the location of the Robson grave and another which shows the location of the Macaulay grave right next to it. The photo I sent basically shows the Robson plot takes up both those spaces. So if there's no connection with the Robson family, looks like it's a screw up in the records - unfortunate.
cheers, Barb

William MacCaulay
Well they dug him up. lol. Found him today and talked to the worker who did it. He was down quite a ways.
