We are a paranormal research group based in Western WA State. Our name stands for: To Research, Understand, Teach, Help. We have a great respect and love of cemeteries as our work often leads us to research them or just spend time in them. We love the idea of helping to document as much as possible about those who are buried in our nation's cemeteries. Whether it's taking a picture of someone's headstone, finding out who they were or trying to locate a photo of them, we love helping out with this project! Let us know if you need our help with anything!
If you are a family member of someone whose memorial we have added, let us know and we'll transfer to you. We also keep the original photos that haven't been resized, if you'd like a copy.
If you notice any mistakes, no matter how small, in the memorials we manage, please let us know. It's easy to make mistakes with the spreadsheets!
Quick update: Have had a lot of complaints about additions to Butterworth's Cemtery, which is the correct name for the pioneer section at Mountain View Cemetery in Centralia, WA. We will try to just delete the entire thing. Here is a link if you would like to see the correct information:
Greenwood Memorial Park Pictures have disappeared from my memorials in Greenwood Memorial Park, Centralia, WA. Also you have included a "Don't show cemetery photos on the memorial page." Why are you messing with my memorials?
CLYSTA WAINSCOTT THANK YOU SO MUCH. Clysta Wainscott was the daughter of my Grandfather Lee Wainscott's brother William H. Wainscott. William's children by his first wife have been hard to searach for. I am sorry to see she spent her last years in a mental facility. But thanks for adding her gravestone to FindAGrave. Karen McMillan
Poineer Cemetery aka Butterworth Cemetery I would appreciate you taking the duplicate entries you made to the Poineer Cemetery in Centralia out of the Poineer Cemetery memorial site. I live in Washougal, 90 miles from Centralia, went up 40 different times to take photos of the different tombstones, clean tombtones, help clean the cemetery, checked out names and dates with the caretaker of the Mountain View Cemetery and Poineer Cemetery, and then post photos for Todd Taylor (the individual who posted entries first). Todd Taylor and I went to alot of trouble to make sure his entries and my photos were correct. And then you went behind us with all those duplicates, the memorial site for the Poineer Cemetery looks like a mess now because of your duplicate entries. Carolyn in Washougal, Washington
Hannah Green Hi--I just added a copy of the death certificate for Hannah Green (38756702). I notice that she is listed on 2 different cemeteries, so I added her DC to both. The birth year is different than what you have listed--could you check and see what you think?? I am not related, I am just adding copies of Wallowa County, Oregon DCs. Thanks, Diana
Butterworths Cemetery I was looking for someone when I stumbled across Butterworths Cemetery aka Pioneer Cemetery in Washington. I started sending you SACs on the dupes, but realized quickly there were too many. Someone else had already posted quite a few in August of 2007, and most have gravestone photos. It would be easier for you to find the dupes because when you pull up that cemetery, all of your entries will be in bold face and you will be able to see at a glance. Thank you so much.
