Am a retired psychologist who worked in the field of family unification.|
Have been heavily into genealogy for the past 21 years and have done cemetery transcriptions in the neighboring county during that time. I also have traveled throughout our nation obtaining data on obscure burials.

I noticed a couple of weeks ago that many of the stones has something put on them. What did you use?
|Carl Catherman||S James Morrison|
Your message about S James Morrison is very curious because I can't find any evidence that John & Elizabeth had a son with this name. He does not appear in the family in either the 1860 or 1870 census. The children that I have are, in order of birth, George W, Winfield S, John S, Mary M, Sarah A, Mirem J, Thomas H, Calinda, Ludinda, Matilda and Nancy E. Sarah A, Mirem J (twins) and Calinda (twin to Lucinda) are all supposedly buried in Mercer County, Illinois. I guess I should create memorials for them since there aren't any. All three died young. What evidence is there that puts S James in this family?

The surrounding area is still a bit scruffy but at least it looks like there has been some care taken of the area where graves are located. Still not a lot of them, 20 - 30 maybe. I have no idea as to the ownership or what any county records may show but there is a street dividing the two, both have their own F-A-G pages and maps, and there is a distinct sign on the Final Resting Place gate which is now on the F-A-G page.
Is there any possibility that you could provide the Find A Grave# for this memorial? As to "Legal" I am sure that is not the word you meant to use. I base all information on state, local and federal records and then cross reference.

I don't know the cremation or burial For Bernard Keen & Alice Ashman, he was born 3-16- 1909 & died 8-22-1995 , his son Norman Randolph Ashman b 5/26-1935 died 4-7-2010 in Springfield, Mo.He was cremated & his ashes sent to Washington State, no other info available per funeral home. Norman was a truck drive & his wife was Harriet L. may have moved back to Washington or Oregon after his death.
The 4 children were: the baby Aug 3- 1893, John Henry Ashman,Jr,b. Jan 9,1895,- Jan 16-1968; Thelma A. Hopkinson b 10-2-1898 d- 11-8-1988 4. Bernard Keen Ashman b 3-16-1909 to-8-22-1995. I believe Bernard had , a son Bernard, & 3 other children including Norman Randolph Ashman .
