I have been a family genealogist since 1967. My Skillman line dates back to 1664 in America. I am a member of the National Genealogical Society, The New York Genealogical and Biographical Society, Sons of the American Revolution, the National Huguenot Society, and The Order of the Founders and Patriots of America. I am also President of the Skillman Family Association, Inc. and Project Administrator of the Skillman DNA Project.|
I am a passionate genealogist and great fan of Find A Grave. I have "met" several previously unknown cousins through this website. Nearly all of the memorials I have created on this website are for family or friends. I will gladly transfer management upon request, if within Find a Grave protocol and your direct ancestor is not also a direct ancestor of mine.

I got so excited, I forgot to mention...
yeah, my mother and sister are extremely interested in joining DAR. I am merely interested in the history of it all.
Again. Thank you

Thank you so much for the photo of Daniel Spangler. I am wondering if you can make out the inscription on the headstone.

Hi. Thanks for posting these wonderful images. I was wondering if you could tell me exactly what is listed on the Daniel Spangler picture in Pine Creek Primitive Baptist Cemetery?
from the angle, the text is a bit hard to read. I am able to make out the dates for Mother Mary, Daniel and Wife Sarah. With the exception of her death year. I think it's 1839, but not positive and also not sure what it says underneath. Does it say Patriot American Revolution?
It would be really great if you could help out somehow. I live in Ohio and taking a ride to Floyd Virginia would be a long trip.
You can contact me on here or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org Daniel and his family are my kin.

Alseberry Alderman is in Pleasant Hill twice. You have a photo of his grave on one of the entries. Could you add the grave photo to the site of his wife findagrave # 54066647?

Thank you so much for the photo you took of his stone. I'm sorry for not thanking you sooner. He is my great grandfather's grandfather.
If I can be of help to you in the Middle Tennessee area just let me know.

Hello John, thank you for trying to find Robert and Virginia for me. I'm not sure if this listing is incorrect or if this is the wrong cemetery.
