I have been doing family history for over 45 years and I do understand that elation when one finds information about their family. For over 6 years now I have tried to do my share in documenting grave sites in any cemetery that I am near. I hope that my efforts have helped some to actually see the grave site of a family member that they never knew the location of or could never hope to visit. I spend many hours doing the photography and even cleaning up the weed choked sites. Also I go the extra mile and try to find more documentation and information about the person.
It is not my intent to construct an instant family tree for anyone to claim; but, please, do not minimize or negate the time and efforts I put forth. I am always cooperative in making corrections or adding information to a site but prefer not to make transfers except under certain circumstances.

Michael Derleth
I hope you don't mind that I put a couple of photos on your page for Michael Derleth. He is my great-great-grandfather, and I recently visited his gravesite. I know quite a lot about him, and could add more information about him on the page, including his other children, if that is okay with you. Thanks to a cousin of mine, I know the Derleth line back four more generations in Bavaria. I'm hoping to help others who, like me, are digging into their family history.

RE: Nellie M Knight
You asked for further info re: Nellie Knight 62853099 You asked for her husband's info. Actually, my grandma had 3 husbands, Knight being the last one, but they were divorced so when he died his family had his body taken back home to North Carolina. Her first husband, my grandfather, remarried and he is buried in Indiana, sharing a headstone with his second wife. My mother, her only daughter, is still alive so I can not share her personal info. Neither of my sisters are interested in Find A Grave, so that is why I would be the only grandchild asking you to let me manage my grandmother's memorial. My grandma is buried in Tucson, and I live in Prescott. We to Tucson yearly with my mom to put flowers on my grandma's grave. If you look at my contributor stuff, you will see that I only manage 25 memorials, 19 that I created, the majority of them are for my family and that I have taken the time to put on a bio on each. A few years back I traveled for 3 months to 20 states tracing my family (12,000 miles) and my memorials are ones that I personally visited, plus I stood at many more headstones of family that I don't manage. But this one I am asking you about is special to me.... my grandmother. Surely you can understand the importance of that. Again, I ask you to please transfer my grandmother's memorial to me. Thanks.

RE: FA Grave Memorial# 112488566

I see this message was from a couple of weeks ago, so if I have already responded, please disregard.

Rev. Alexander Cunningham - I added this memorials when I photographed the entire cemetery. At the time, I tried to research each grave so I could put what information about the person I could easily find, a lot of the people were already in my family tree, but unfortunately Alexander wasn't, so I don't know to much other than what I have on the memorial.

If you are a descendant of his and would like me transfer the maintenance of the memorial to you, please let me know.

transfer memorial
I would like to request a transfer of my grandmother's memorial to me. Her name is Nellie Knight and she is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Tucson, Arizona, memorial # 62853099. Since my grandma only had 3 grandchildren and neither of my sisters are interested, I would be the only one requesting this. Thank you, Shirley G

Elizabeth Featherstone
Hi, I added another headstone for baby Elizabeth. It appears to be older, is broken off, and her last name was spelled Fetherstone. I took the photo near the headstone for Edith Beth Martin and Alice M. Martin as well as Alta Featherstone. If you would like for me to delete the photo just let me know.

RE: Cunningham, Thomas
Dear Kay,
Did you get my e-mails to your private address on I have an account with the 1912 birthdate sourced on 1920 & 1930 Federal Census, his SSA, VA/BIRLS Death Record, Florida Death Record & ofcourse the Find A Grave Memorial. You have to be family to get his Florida Death Certificate which I'm not. As I mentioned, we did not know these folks personally. The 1910, 1920 & 1930 Census listed Findley & Rose as his parents. But if you'd be more comfortable, I'll remove their names from the Find A Grave Memorial. I have not found marriage records for Thomas & Faye yet, but since they're buried together, were most likely living together.
It's a puzzle :0)
Good to be thorough,

Thank you for the use of the photo! A few "trees" have his middle name as Scott but have not seen a different name.
