I have documented all the cemeteries in Lebanon, NH; the Etna, Hanover Center and Dana Cemeteries.|
I have also documented all the Civil War soldiers within these cemeteries.
I have been researching Lebanon Residents in the Civil War; and also the Civil War Soldiers buried in Lebanon, NH Cemeteries.
I plan to include bios on all of these men.
I am secretary of the Lebanon Historical Society.
I am on the Soldiers Memorial Building Committee (Old G.A.R. Hall).
It has been brought to my attention that some contributors are using my "published" documents as their own in the Lebanon and Hanover, NH cemeteries. Any contributor that has done this must give "credit" to me for the documentation.

I don't remember if there was a flag holder or not...he was in the Horse Meadow Cem...not the Horse Meadow Annex and he's near the Pauper section.
|Dean Slone||Anna Sloan Packard|
You posted a picture of Anna's headstone. I am attempting to prove that this Anna is the daughter of David Slone of Dorchester Mass and his wife Sarah Dyer of Braintree, Mass. I am descended from John Slone, Anna's eldest brother. If you could send me a clear picture of the headstone I would be grateful. Perhaps mail a rubbing if a good picture with high relief is not possible?
Note the spelling of Slone. Thank you,

Somehow your message did not come through, but I appreciate that you made the edit so quickly.
Also, in case you find it interesting, I think that Isaac may have remarried to Mary (Find A Grave Memorial# 72442526), buried in the Etna Cemetery. It would have been a second marriage for her too. It seems likely that this is correct, but I have not confirmed it yet in any way.
Thanks again. Best wishes.
Many thanks for the wonderful photo of Lowell Shaw. Much appreciated!

Thank you very much for the nice lasting memory of my great grandfather Arthur Ames Austin.

If I typed Fred, I am sorry. I could clearly see it was FRIEND. I saw that you and another contributor were trying to get details on two different Hattie Pressey memorials. I came across a bunch of death certificates and think I was at least able to give you the dates you needed.
Just trying ...

Fran, I think there was just a typo in your SAC - it suggested "Gow". All the info I've seen - marriage records, birth records of children, death record, books online, the Find A Grave bio for Captain Amos Kinne:) - say "Grow". Her first name is mis-transcribed as "Susa" a lot for some reason. In any case, her memorial was updated with "Grow". - Deb
