I've always been fascinated with grave sites, visited cemeteries, made rubbings, took photos, etc. and must say that find-a-grave is an ideal site.

I've worked on family history projects for over 35 years and will for as long as I can. I'm more than happy to share family history with anyone interested.

The primary names I research are STROOPE, KEA, Pitts, Howton, Trammel, Hopper, Hale, Thetford, CARPER, BARTON, Lyon, Phipps, Griffith, Ellison, Shumate and many allied lines.

When I document a grave site, I try to include some information on the parents, siblings, marriage, etc. hoping this will help someone idendify their relative. In some cases, when recording my line, or lines, I've created memorials for as much of the cemetery as I've had access to.

I'll be glad to transfer your family member to you. Always remember the FAG # for the memorial page and, of course, your FAG #. PLEASE do not send me a big list of names with no numbers included... thanks

If I have grave site information in error, please contact me so that corrections can be made.

Recent projects include:

--Gig Harbor and Haven of Rest Cemeteries, Gig Harbor, Pierce County, Washington

--JCC Smith Cemetery in Texas

--Knight of Pythias and Sunset Lane Memorial Park, Port Orchard, Kitsap County, Washington

--Lovington and Resthaven Cemeteries, Lovington, Lea County, New Mexico

--Mountain View Memorial Park, Lakewood, Pierce County, Washington

--Mount Calvary Cemetery (Santa Barbara Cemetery) , Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico

--Calvary, Old Pioneer and Tacoma Cemeteries, Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington

--Riverside Cemetery in Vassar, Tuscola County, Michigan

RE: info on death of nancy gohs blunt
Have received no further information on Nancy Gohs Blunt. Who would have received her body when it arrived in Vassar for burial and who would have written an obituary for her? Please let me know. Gerald Fritz. 2543 Sage Dr. Green Bay, WI. There must be some one who knew her or her sister who died in 2007 and had a couple of children. There must be someone I can contact.

I have been there before but did not get out due to the over growth at the time. I'll see what's there and get back to you.

While I'm there do you need anything else?

Are you a relative of Ruth's? If so would you like me to transfer to you?

I am trying to find out any information on Nancy Gohs Blunt #73252474 who died 4-21-95 in Los Angeles and was buried in Riverside Cemetary that same year. If you know of any one who might help me let me know. I know she had a sister also buried in Riverside who left children but I have no knowledge where they might live. Please help me.

Gould gravestones
I can't thank you enough for what you have done. My great-aunt, Eithel Gould, died in 1950 when I was 5. I remember it well, and remember that she had a child named Memory Ruann who died in infancy. How amazing to find their headstones posted - what a treasure. Her husband, George, was so distraught after her passing.
Your efforts have made this all come back to life - thanks again!

Re: Lawrence Setina
Hi Kathy- We are curious where you came by the immigration information for Lawrence. Are you related in some way? I've not listed his birth and/or immigration location because of a variety of references in the records to Austria and Slovenia. At the time of his immigration he would have been a subject of the Austria-Hungarian Empire which is what he wrote on his 1918 draft registration. The Slovenians, Croats & Serbs didn't name their republic, begun in 1918, Yugoslavia until 1929! If you are related, I'll be happy to list whatever country name you prefer. Regards~ Jon & Joy.
