I'm just doing my small bit to help others in their genealogy quests. It's my way of paying back and thanking all of those who have helped me over time in my family history searches.

RE: John Dimmick Grave
Great! Can you give me an idea where in the cemetery it is? I've never been able to find a listing for him in there before. Thank you.

John Dimmick Grave
Hi - I am a descendant of John and a Falmouth native. Would you tell me the whereabouts of the stone you have on this site belonging to him? Thank you.

Your Now the Expert
Hi Wendi:
Thank you for posting the photo. And yes I realize it is not very readable but, what that now does is make you the expert on this stone. If someone says its not readable, it is not certain who the stone belongs to, are now the person who can with 100% assurance say yes it is. I have seen it, I have read it, I have photographed it.
Let someone else try to photograph it, or photograph it at different times of the day, or with different weather conditions. And if still not readable report it to someone there. There are people who are certified to clean these old stones. Let the county (or whomever) give them some work.
Anyway, thank you. And if you have Jabez's stone, post it too.

Two Stones Not Clear
Hey Wendi:
First, I am sorry. I spelt your name wrong.
Second, on Jabez and Annah Davis' gravestones; might you reconsider posting the photos you took? I realize they are not as readable as you want them to be but I feel they are better than no photos at all.
Long story, short. "Sara" and I have worked on these Dimicks (and all their spellings) for a few years now. We've also worked with Bob at We're always trying to get him new photographs or additional photographs. Hence my asking you if you'd like to go ahead and post what you have.
Will leave it up to you.

Hi Wendy:
First let me say thank you for taking a posting a photo of Ebenezer Dimick (or any of the variant spellings). But I was wondering if I might get you to do me another favor? You posted it to the Ebenezer whom I had the request in for but...I think it is the wrong Ebenezer. There are two. If you look at his memorial, #5864047, you will see his DOD as 1775. The photo you posted has a DOD of 1811. Remember I said there were two Ebenezer's in the cemetery? If you look at memorial #65001169, you'll find the Ebenezer with the DOD of 1811. I'm not sure if you want to remove the photo from the one and post it to the other? Will leave that up to you. If you do remove it, would you possibly let me know? I will put in another photo request. Thank you again.

Falmouth Burying Ground lists who is buried there...and some you can click on the name if there is a photo (I have put several on Find A Bob's permission first to do this and gave his website credit)...but quite a few you can' least you know where they were originally buried. I heard that there was a hurricane several years ago and major damage was done to the gravestones.
Thanks so much for going up there and finding out what you did..good to get them photographed now before they are "gone".
Good luck with your own genealogy,

Hatch Family
Hi Wendi, Thanks for trying to find my cousins at Falmouth Old Burying Ground. Even though there headstones are now gone, you passed on valuable information. I appreciate your time and effort.
