My Daddy took this picture and named it "Home made hair cut". My brother, who was 2 years older than me, had just given me the new hair style. When Daddy asked me what happened I told him but I also assured him that I said "Thank you" when my brother had finished.|
I do research on several family names: Pack, Preston, Wheeler, Ward, Scott, Smith, also on my husband's side: Clemmons, Edrington, Kessler, Marshall, Heilman, Duvall, Stickley.

Thank You For Adding The Grave Photo.
I have several Packs, Wards, in my family history I think Golda is a cousin on the Meek side of my family, The Wards are through Mollett's, Hylton's and same way with the Prestons.
Have A Great Day

Memorials in Christiansburg Cemetery #30924661 and #30925558 appear to be duplicates: both for Morgan Moore and with same b.& d. dates.

You just never know where I am going to pop up - but the confusion regarding James Henry Venable.... You show his parents as Elizabeth Cowan Venable, b: 1784; and James Venable b: 1778. I am thinking she is a little to old to be the mother, psb grandmother??? Is it possible that he is the son of Joseph Morton Venable b: 1791 and Mary Fleming Cowan, b: 1797? I show they had a son named James H Venable but the years don't exactly match, but close enough. Have you found any other information that might solve this confusion?
