Available for you here in Santa Cruz County, California! (I'm in Watsonville, CA area on Wednesdays.) Giving back to other FindAGrave folks for likewise being provided for by others around the USA... Your cross-country trip is my 2-minute drive! Ready to help, back up, or add to other contributors in our team effort searches! Also, all my pics are public domain to be used by anybody freely, permission given, as I am not after $$ or personal credit. I try to go the extra mile when fulfilling a Find A Grave request: I look (and inquire the cemetery office) for nearby same-names that may be previously overlooked or unknown relatives... I clean and trim the grass and earth on outdoor markers...
I sometimes use the shaving cream/squeegee method to make markers' text readable, when needed. I clean and rinse up after, too. The one-time "risks", if any, are well worth it, for the results of having a permanent readable record of the important text for family and genealogical reasons. See: Shaving Cream on Tombstones.
it's easy to understand Find A Grave's position, as they (respectfully) assume NO liability whatsoever.
UPDATE! FIND A GRAVE RAISED THEIR MANDATED PIC SIZE TO 3.0MB MAXIMUM! ALL THE FUTURE PICS I TAKE WILL BE AT LEAST 2.0MB!
(PLEASE: I REQUEST THAT MY PIC REQUESTS LIKEWISE BE AT LEAST 2.0MB. ALSO, THAT THEY BE FREE OF OBJECTS OR VEGETATION BLOCKING THE MARKER'S INFO OR TEXT! THANK YOU!)
If they want, if a requestor provides me their email address, I will send the pics FULL size to you, for you to have a more detailed portrait.
I use my Ancestry.com account's search engine to find facts that requestors may want to add to their Find A Grave memorials. I've been told that I've successfully helped several requestors make important discoveries for their genealogical research.
(By the way: I have found that the best way to handle an antagonistic, obnoxious, lying and paranoid person is NOT to respond to their taunts. They are uncaring, lonely and bored wretches, entertained by the trouble they cause. Remember, nobody is evil or crazy in their own mind: they just make up (and believe) excuses for their behavior. It's AMAZING how many evil and crazy creeps there are in Find A Grave. Truly benevolent folks like us must stay strong!)
Again, as always, I'm willing and glad to help, as others have helped me in my own family tree research. | |

 | Your Bio I totally agree with all you say. I have found that by not responding to negative people, more people benefit from the good.
Keep up the good work, stay strong, and continue to share. I for one appreciate all that you do.
Keep in touch, and always feel free to let me know of any additions or corrections that I may need to make.
Take care, Diana Satterfield | | | Diana Satterfield
 | Olive Burger Hi Richard,
Thank you so very much for taking this photo. She is related through my grandmother who was Esmerilda Bernice Waltrip.
I have not worked on this line in a while, so trying to catch up. It may take me a while.... :)
Again, I appreciate all you do.

 | Franscioni Thank you so much for clarifying location of Silvio and for taking time out of your life to do it. I just updated his memorial to reflect what you found. There are a couple of people helping with Duvilia, but I think you're probably right and will let them know about Silvio. Great teamwork, couldn't have done it without your help. Thanks again!!Added by Sheila on May 09, 2013 4:13 PM | | | 2hipcat
 | RE: Peerys in Boulder Creek I'm sorry to respond in such a late fashion but I want to update you on Joseph Wilburn Peery memorial and the other Peery headstones on Boulder Creek cemetery. I added Mildred and Martha's memorial links as spouses for J W Peery. I added a photo of Mildred's personal marker to her memorial. I added another memorial for Mary Peery and included a photo of her marker. In my notes Mary was an adopted child. It has been some time since I collected this info. My notes with resource info is in Boulder Creek and if I have more information I will add it. Here is a link to the list of Peery's listed in the Mountain Echo Newspaper on microfilm at the main Santa Cruz Library. http://scplweb.santacruzpl.org/history/mtecho/names/pnpeer-pen.shtml
I see that ClaireW added the photo that you requested, which is sharper than mine so I didn't duplicate her efforts.

 | Cadwallader Thank you so very much Richard for posting the pictures and listing for Fran and their son. | | | Ruth Dowdy-McArthur
 | Thanks for the Photos Richard:
Thanks so much for the photos you took at my request for the niches of John 'Barney' S Antic and his wife, Phyllis L Stevens Antic.
Phyllis was a first cousin to my mother; it has taken me a long time to locate her burial location but thankfully a Find-A-Grave volunteer did finally post one.
Thanks again. I do appreciate it very much.

 | Gregory Richard,
Thanks for the photo. Was this at Holy Cross or Old Holy Cross Cemetery? Or - are they one and the same? Are there any other Gregorys there that I can add to Find A Grave? Any help is appreciated.
