I'm semi-retired and live in Loudoun County, VA. I've finally found the time to get involved with genealogy and working on my family tree. The branches of my extended family are in Long Island, NY, RI, MA, OH, and DE. I enjoy helping to fulfill photo requests for Find A Grave, and to also play a part in the continuing documentation of the many nearby cemeteries.|
Feel free to use any of my photos for noncommercial activities. If you find a relative's memorial you would like to manage, please let me know. I'm usually more than happy to transfer as long as it's not one of my relatives.

Thank You so much for solving that little mystery! What a tangled web our ancestors weave sometimes!

Concerning his grave site their is a currently debate or discussion between the my self the G.N.C. he was killed outside of Gettysburg and buried in a farmhouse's garden along with two other members of the 13th Mississippi Infantry Regiment. After the civil war, the Union Army dug up all three men and moved them to G.N.C. . My third great uncle Sgt Frank M. Ross was "Newt" brother-in law. Frank is the one that wrote to Newt wife (Mollie)and inform her of his death.
I don't if your Nash friend knows all of the Nash history during the Civil war/before/after. But I can help with all three. I have as much information on the Nash family as I do my owe. All of Newt letters to his wife and the letter from my uncle Frank Ross to her are in the Mississippi State Archive.
I can not at this time provide a picture of his grave. But I am attaching a picture of Newt and his wife Mollie.
If I can help in any other way please let me know.
