Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in researching my family tree in about 1987. A very important tool in my research "tool chest" has always been visiting cemeteries and photographing stones of family members. In about 2006 we decided to post our many cemetery pictures with short bios to findagrave. We tag-team, I post the information and she posts the pictures. There are very few of our original memorials that are not our family members. However, there have been instances when I've photographed other stones while in a given cemetery and have gone ahead and posted those. We felt they might help someone looking for that person. I also photographed the entire Walker Cemetery in Mt. View MO one year while there for a family reunion. For those not in my family, I would be glad to transfer management, but to a family member only. Racking up large numbers of entries are not our bag, but creating well presented memorials for our loved ones is. Our DIRECT family lines (parents thru 2nd great-grandparents) are: Father-Simmons (Chennault, King, Thomas, Coburn, Tiller, James, Johnson); Mother-Stokes (Miller, Vassar, Walker, Thornton, McMurray, Bryson). Plus we're constantly finding other "kin folk" as we work back through the generations.

I made the additions you send and then transferred her to you. If there are any other memorials in Sarcoxie Cemetery that I have you would like to have transferred just ask. I am about 3/4 finished photographing the entire cemetery and have very few relatives buried there.

Thomas Cooney

It looks like his burial is indeed a mystery. Please see this memorial:

RE: Myrtle Lavarnway, Ward's Chapel Cem
Hi Pat,
You are very welcome! I know I had looked for her previously, and was about to give up again. I had turned to speak to the person with me who was down a couple of rows. And there was Myrtle's stone!! I had walked right past it. I felt as though she wanted to be found!
If you are related, I will gladly transfer her memorial. Just send me a request.
Have a marvelous day,

RE: Thank You
One of my pet peeves is people who put up lots and lots of memorials without doing grave marker pictures.

Ah well that to shall pass

happy Easter

Fairmont Cemetery
The following memorial is associated to the "Fairmont Cemetery" which does not appear to be a real cemetery. The two cemeteries near Fairmont are: Collett and Zion Lutheran.

Rebecca Chennault (#8672630)
I was able to go to Hunter Cemetery on a sunny day and was able to take another picture of Rebecca Jane Alexander Chennault's stone. I have this person as a request I had fulfilled last year; I'm don't know that you were the one that asked for the request but since you are maintaining the page I assume so. Anyway ... there is now a better picture of the stone up on the page. The other Chennaults also have an upgrade.

RE: Hudson's in Waggoner Cemetery, Cedar County , MO
I uploaded the JO, MH, and INFT. There wasn't a memorial for the unknown smooth stone that I could find. Now that I am looking at the initials, I wonder if JO is James, MH is Mark, the smooth one possible Annie or Pink, and then an infant.

RE: Hudson's in Waggoner Cemetery, Cedar County , MO
Do you want me to email them to you or are you going to make memorials for those with dates?

It lays out like this in a row:

Annie and James...the a marker with MH, then a marker with INFT, then the small stone that is so smooth you can't read it, then a marker with JO, then Mark. I am not sure who these are between Annie/James and Mark. But they are listed in all the cemetery books I have researched at the library as Hudsons.

Lester and Martha are farther down a few rows away and then Donna Fay is off by herself.

Anyway, let me know how you want me to send or upload.

I fulfilled your request for Jim Hudson today. In your request you had a note to snap pics of other Hudson's nearby. I found headstone or markers for:

Annie 1870-1912
Unknown Hudson (Illegible - too smooth)
Mark 1896-1941

Lester "Buck" Mar 10,1903 - Aug 23, 1991
Martha Sept 10, 1902 - Jun 16, 1976

Donna Faye Feb 16, 1928 - Sept 4, 2006

Annie and Mark had memorials so I uploaded those pics.

Would you like to have the rest of the Hudson pics?
