I became interested in researching my family tree in about 1987. From the beginning a very important tool in my research "tool chest" has been visiting cemeteries and photographing stones of family members. This photo is of me and my research partner, my sister, M. Bishop. I'm the one really stylin' in my fashionable long skirt, however no shoes! :) And she is smartly turned-out in her groovy high-heels, Easter basket and long-gun! Just recently we decided to post our many cemetery pictures with short bios to findagrave. We tag-team, I post the information and she posts the pictures. There are very few of our memorials that are not our family members. However, there have been instances I've seen stones with our family names and snapped the picture "just in case" they turned out to be in my tree. We have gone ahead and posted those pictures as we felt they might help someone looking for that person. I also photographed the entire Walker Cemetery in Mt. View MO one year while there for a family reunion. For those not in my family, I would be glad to transfer management to a family member. Large numbers of entries are not our bag, but creating well presented memorials for our loved ones is. Our family lines are; Simmons, Stokes, Miller, Chennault, Coburn, King, Johnson, Walker, Thornton, Bryson, Vassar, James, Thomas & Tiller - plus many other extended families discovered as we work back through the generations.|

Thanks for updating her memorial!
|Mark Dixon||RE: Amos Worrell|
There were over 100 outstanding requests for that cemetery, and yours unfortunately was one of the few I could not find a marker for.
I did want to make sure to let you saw though that I did get a picture for James P. Worrell (1926-1998) and his wife Edith. (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=pv&GRid=130896283&PIpi=102905325).
Those 3 Worrell's are the only ones in the cemetery records.
It looks like his burial is indeed a mystery. Please see this memorial:

You are very welcome! I know I had looked for her previously, and was about to give up again. I had turned to speak to the person with me who was down a couple of rows. And there was Myrtle's stone!! I had walked right past it. I felt as though she wanted to be found!
If you are related, I will gladly transfer her memorial. Just send me a request.
Have a marvelous day,

Will transfer others as time permits.
If he died between 1910-1963 in MO, he might be listed on the online data base. Otherwise, I have a subscription to ancestry, and can look him up for you. Feel free to send me the info, if you like. :)

One of my pet peeves is people who put up lots and lots of memorials without doing grave marker pictures.
Ah well that to shall pass

|Erick Wagner||Fairmont Cemetery|
The following memorial is associated to the "Fairmont Cemetery" which does not appear to be a real cemetery. The two cemeteries near Fairmont are: Collett and Zion Lutheran.
Emerine Florence "Emma" Norris Cuthbertson (86799573)
Thank you for the heads up on this one. I have added his full name to my memorial and made some changes. I will have to send them to an administrator to be merged since neither of us can do that. Thanks, I appreciate it.
