I've been working on my family tree for 30 years and findagrave has been a great help.|
Most of my transcriptions were done pencil to paper, before digital cameras. Please let me know if I've made any errors in my transcriptions, I'll be happy to fix them.
Please don't ask me to make changes or corrections based on speculation. Unless I know the family history, I enter what I see on the grave marker, just as it is.
If you find I've made an entry for your family member, please request a transfer. I'll be more than happy to transfer them to you, if they're not my family. PLEASE request transfers through the EDIT tab on the memorial.
Please feel free to use the photos I've added.
Have a great day!
One Final Gift
by: D.H. Cramer
Scatter me not to the restless winds
Nor toss my ashes to the sea.
Remember now those years gone by
When loving gifts I gave to thee.
Remember now the happy times
The family ties are shared.
Don't leave my resting place unmarked
As though you never cared.
Deny me not one final gift
For all who came to see.
A simple lasting proof that says
I loved and you loved me.

Thanks so much. That's more information than I have been able to come up with.
Very much appreciated.

Thank you for the transfer. I have entered Paul's military information into the memorial. Appreciate your helping in bringing this 455th soldier 'back'.
Hi Shelly -
I am researching the St. Jean family on my fathers side. My father had an aunt Delia (St.Jean) Beaudry. I have been unable to locate
where she passed away or when. She was married to
Joseph Beaudry, and he died prior to 1930. I found an envelope from B. Mertens, 720 Cedar St
St. Paul, Minn, with postmark of Feb 9, 1954.
My mom had written her name on the envelope and
"Anchor Hospital, St. Paul" .. unfortunately there was no letter enclosed. Does anything sound familiar to you? If so, please let me know.
Thanks for any help you can throw my way.
Regards - Beth
P.S. - I did create a memorial for Delia and would love to make it complete.

Thanks, it looks great.

I have a photo of Joe Kroc and wife Anna Sistek Kroc with their young daughter Alice (my grandmother) from about 1910. I have another photo of Joe Kroc standing with an unknown man. Those are the only photos I have of any ancestors or relatives of my grandmother.

Would you like the original copy? Email me your address and I'd be glad to send it to you.
|Brent Burford||RE: Annie Sistek Kroc|
Thank you for the obituary of our mutual ancestor.
Anna Sistek Kroc died young leaving only one child, my grandmother Alice Kroc Burford. Her husband Joe Kroc died before I was born.
Alice never discussed her parents or extended family during her lifetime and died in 1973, before I had any interest in genealogy. I did not know the names of any of her relatives in MN. Other than the names of Alice's parents, I knew nothing of the family history and there was no one to ask.
|Madeliene||Margaret Tindall Casey|
Hello, my husband's uncle Charles Sidney Casey 1915-1969 was married to a Margaret (last name unknown) and they resided in Louisville, KY upon his death. Charles and my husband's father William Casey, Sr were brothers. I was curious if you know if this is the Margaret married to him...his nickname was Satch. I have been researching the Casey family and would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you.
