In my spare time, I take digital photo's of old cemetery tombstones in the old sections of graveyards. I am originally from New Jersey and transplanted to central Florida. I am no longer available to go back to any South Jersey cemetery.
If a grave I've submitted does not have a picture, please e-mail me and I can send you the photo if available.
If you are a family member of a memorial/grave I've submitted and would like to take ownership of the memorial, I will be more than happy to transfer ownership.
If you would like to include a bio or obituary for someone I've submitted to find-a-grave, please e-mail that to me along with the cemetery the person is located in, name, dates and I will be more than happy to include that also.
Memorials I have marked with a flower are that of my family and ancestrial line.

 | John & Abigail Chambers Thank you for your work and for the transfer of John Chambers' listing. I appreciate your note about the photography of the stone that may be Abigail's marker. | | | K Perry
 | Townsend Cemetery Hi- I am interested in the info on where John Townsend came to settle in 1685 in Cape May NJ, and then all the Townsend graves were moved when they wanted to make Shore Road. I see all the graves were moved to Seaville Methodist cemetery in Cape May NJ. Do they have the names available of the people that they moved? Where would they keep that info ?
My ancestor John Townsend born 1658 and his wife Phebe Williams, dau of Robert Williams, moved to Cape May NJ. John Townsend born 1658 was the son of Richard Townsend and Elizabeth Wicks or Weekes (Elizabeth was from Warwick, Rhode Island) Richard Townsend was the youngest of 3 brothers who first moved to Jamaica Queens Ny and then moved to Oyster Bay to get away from the Dutch rule. The 3 Townsend brothers (John, Henry and Richard) lived in Oyster Bay, Nassau County, NY
The Townsend book is online: http://archives.org/details/memorialofjohnhe00newy A Memorial to John, Henry and Richard Townsend and their descendants, W A Townsend Publisher, 1865 -Richard Townsend is Chapter XV and his son John Townsend in Chapter XVI
Do you know if they have a list of who was buried and a list of who was moved to this cemetery and when Thank you-Added by K Perry on Oct 29, 2012 1:59 PM | | | Patricia Osborne Joppien

 | RE: Thank you! You're welcome - it was my first opportunity and I went with my granddaughter. She hasn't had much exposure to death so it was a great opportunity for sharing. We originally went on Sunday and walked quite a bit, finding only 2 out of the 5 requests without help from the office. I'm glad we went back on Monday because the lawns were freshly mowed and it looked much better. | | | C. L. Hines

 | Thank You Thank you so much for taking these picture for me. I can never tell you how much it means to me to be able to view the headstones of my brother and my mother (Nora McNeill) And of my grandparents and Father (Holtons)in the Mascotte cemetry. As I said in my request I live in North Carolina now and can not visit as much as I would like too. This has inspired me to sign up and do the same for others that you have done for me. If you can, when you get a chance, my nephew (2yrs old) is beside my dad (Jimmie Lee Holton-mascotte cemetry) on the right- Gregory Don Woods Thanks again for all you have done. If there is ever a need for a pic in Western NC, please just let me know. Sincerely, Mrs Sherri Hoyle | | | | [View all messages...] |
